Good for the price.
Friendly staff, good room. Paid almost twice as much for the same room at other places. Shower could use more water pressure. Has WiFi. But for a no frills night of sleep, you can't ask for more. Convenient stores across the street. (Price Chopper, CVS, Marshalls)

Nice Long Weekend Stay
We were surpised to find the room clean, and apparently recently renovated. This made it very comfortable. The TV was an old style CRT type, but we didn't use it at all. The only morning convenience was free coffee at the office. Burger King and Friendly's were within a block, and there was new grocery store across the street.

Typical Berkshires motel
Needed accommodation to attend BSO concerts and re-visit Clark museum. Average motel, typical for that area.

Adequate room, convenient locale
This room was fine for me because I spend very lttle time in a room when travelling. I was alone, but happy there were 2 beds because one had stains on the sheets which possibly indicate bedbugs. I did a search and found no bugs, so I had a good night's sleep in the bed with clean sheets. A coffee maker in the room would have been nice.

Short drive from hotel
Frankie's Ristorante on Main St has good food at decent prices, and the Olde Heritage Tavern on Housatonic St. has interesting pizza selections. Lenox Coffee on Main St. has good coffee and great pastry.

Enjoyed our stay
The room was clean. After a long day at Six Flags, the jacuzzi tub was a welcome site. We had no problem finding a place to eat as there were many in the area to choose from.

Wagon Wheel
The Wagon Wheel is a bare basic hotel. We stayed over Saturday so the price was jacked up way over the price that it would have been any other time. We did like the location, we could walk to resturants and we could take the back roads to Tanglewood

Exploitive Wagon Wheel
Thinking the James Taylor Tanglewood festival may sell out motels in the area I reserved this room the day the concert tickets were released. This was a bad assumption since there were vacancies at motels we drove by at 4pm the day of the concert. The staff (both of them) were very friendly. I took them up on their offer of a DD Munchkin' as I checked out. The room was tiny and it smelled like smoke. A king sized bed left just a path to walk around. The shower curtain had some plum colored stains. A black microwave was stacked on a white office fridge and there were no coffee pots in the rooms. Only caffeinated coffee was available down in the office for guests. (I found this out as I checked out.) The carpet looked like indoor/outdoor. My wife didn't like the idea of putting the extra pillow on the floor. She was unnerved by what she perceived as a dirty carpet. From some post-concert research I estimate I spent double for this very tired room. I've spent the same money and slept in style and peacefully across the street from a Broadway Theatre in NYC (The Time Hotel)! Instead, we were about 150 feet from a 4-lane highway and across the street from Price Chopper! Thanks Orbitz for reminding me to comment. I was ripped off. Lesson learned.
