Lenox Inn

Was in town for a one night business stay. Hotel gave me a 10% discount voucher for an excellent steak house across the street. Inexpensive and extremely clean...what else do you need?

Needed a place to stay for the night. Relatively clean. It was what I needed it to be. No shampoo in the bathroom though. Would stay again if needed.

We only spent one night and couldnt wait to leave. The room had a terrible musty odor despite having the windows wide open, the bathroom had a moldy shower curtain and there was a gross film all over the sink. The comforter on the bed was dirty and stained...We never took our shoes off and even showered with flip flops on...I will never stay here again. If you dont mind dirt, mildew or foul odors this is the place for you if not then spend the extra money for a CLEAN room!!!

Tanglewood Music concert. Motel was OK. Coffee was available next door. Nice pool.

Honestly for the $$ this hotel totally met my expectations. It was clean, comfortable, & convenient. We arrived late from NYC and had requested a noon check-out for the following day. We had no problems with this from the hotel keeper. Note this little hotel is located right off the main highway, so there is a little noise from the cars, but it is not disruptive and by 2am it is completely quiet. This place is perfect for anyone traveling on a budget.

A wonderful little place to hang our hat while visiting family in the area. The place is old but kept up. Rooms are clean, new rugs, and I like the little wall shelf in the bathroom. (An easy place to set toiletries so they are handy but out of the way.) There is a quiet, inviting little pool area in the back, surrounded by trees. A wonderful value for the price. We will keep returning.

Main complaint--did not get double beds requested and feel I should have been told at booking that they were not available so I could have stayed elsewhere if I wanted. Note: Lot of traffic noise which may bother some people. Positives--location convenient (centrally located to attractions in area and near one restaurant and a Dunkin Donuts quick-stop store); motel clean although it could use a makeover.

The motel room was a little small, but it was acceptable. The lighting was poor so the room was very dim. Thankfully, the room was clean.

I chose the place because of its low price. I did not care so much about fancy features, and the place met my expectations, not more, not less. The place is old, but reasonably clean. It was right next to the road, so expect some car noise. The place was warmed by a portable space heater, but cooled by a built-in airconditioner. Free coffee offered in the morning at the check-in place. Wi-fi connection was fast and strong. If all you want is a clean place to sleep (even though the facility is old) without having to pay much, this is the place for you. If you want more pleasant sleep and fancy features (like free coffee in your own room), go to a national chain.

Clean, comfortable, great AC, good location.
