Basic Comfort , Good Service, But Pricey
Our stay at the Knights Inn in Lenox was just for a quick overnight for a wedding. The room was clean, but we had to ask for a iron and ironing board which is usually provided for a room that costs more than $175 a night. The hotel staff were pleasant and accommodating to requests and the check in and out process was seamless.

Two Shepherds on the Road
Just what we needed
In the area for Mass. Sheep Festival; motel clean, plain, comfortable beds and pillows, frig, microwave, hospitable desk clerk, coffee out early in the a.m.; a good utilitarian motel for the purpose and the price.

Never to old to learn
FORGETABLE DUMP
BE FOREWARNED: What I'm about to share is not pretty. My wife and I are both in our early sixties and consider ourselves pretty down to earth, people. Hoping for basic, no-frills clean accommodations, we were mortified with the overall run down condition of the Knights Inn in Lenox, MA. The room smelled like cheap cleaning products, the type used to cover up even worse odors and there was black mold in the bath tub/shower area. While I can't state the following with full certainty I believe that there were "full timers" residing in this motel [eg. Section 8/public assistance]. At the risk of being considered prejudiced/biased toward this population, this is not what we were bargaining for when we locked into staying here. The bottom line, however, was more the condition of the facility rather than the people residing there that turned us off. We debated driving back home [2 hours away] or taking a loss on the $$ spent and find another place to stay for the night. Ultimately, we made believe we had turned back the clock and were youthful travelers, once again bedding down in cheap digs/youth hostels. Truth be told we could not get out of there fast enough. If a DUMP is what you're looking for WELCOME HOME, otherwise STAY AWAY!!

Good price for the location - not much else to recommend it. There is a very tasty Chinese restaurant next door, and fairly close to Monument Mountain, Tanglewood. The hotel itself- not so great.

Good Value
The room was clean and neat. It had a comfortable King size bed, free continental breakfast and free wire-less internet in the room. The staff was pleasant.

This motel was presented on Orbitz as modern and up to date. In reality, this is a dated motel that hasn't had any improvements since the day the owners purchased it. The rooms are shabby and old looking. The bed coverlete was shabby looking and dirty looking. The bathroom had dirt and hair in the corners and the tub did not sparkle. The management was friendly enough and apparently willing to make things right, but the appearance of the place belies their willingness. Orbitz disapointed me with their write up. I will think twice before relying on you again.

the continental breakfast ...
the continental breakfast consisted of stale cereal , mini muffins , coffee and sometimes oj. this was a remake of some older hotel and was adequate for an over night stay
