Closed the Motel with Me in It
I have stayed at this motel several times because of its great location and reasonable prices. This past week I had the surreal experience of having the motel close while I was still staying there. First the cable TV stopped working two days before I left. I thought this was due to the storm. Then I woke up on my last day there and had no running water. I called the front desk and there was no answer. I walked up the the breakfast room and it was locked. I then went to the office and it was also locked with a "closed" sign in the window. A workman with limited English told me that "the motel was not open." I still don't know if motel is out of business or just for the season, there was no one to ask. The motel didn't inform me when I checked in nor at anytime during my four day stay that they were closing. I left the key in the door and departed an abandon motel with no one in sight.

You get what you pay for - not much.
Checked into room - promptly found a roach and spider on the wall as the windows had been left open. Cobwebs in corners. Heavy dust in many places like top of headboard, bases of furniture, etc. Found a couple of long hairs on the sheets of the bed - hopefully, they came from the cleaning staff. Milk provided for cereal was not kept cold by any means - was lukewarm when I tried it. On 2 of 3 nights, occupants of one room were sitting outside drinking beer and being loud in the early evening. Would might have tried switching to another motel, but we had prepaid and it was indicated no refunds could be made, so we stuck it out. Great location though - close enough to the ferry to get there by a short 3 block walk. Can't beat the price, but now you know why.

very good facility at a reasonable price
I based my motel search on location near the ferry dock as I did not have a car. The location was very good. I also liked the location as the town with shops, the Jack Kennedy museum, and restaurants were within walking distance. The continental breakfast was good, with the food being replenished frequently.

Great family hotel
Our family enjoyed staying in this hotel while vacationing in the Cape. The staff was very helpful and very welcoming. Great central location as well. The dining room is a little small, but if you wake up early enough, this may not be a problem.

Great location
This hotel is right on main street a couple blocks from everything in Hyannis, Ma. Although the location is grand and the accomodations were okay, the bed was very uncomfortable. The mattress was hard and made sleeping difficult.

back to basics
Room was very basic, older TV with cable, in wall AC unit (effective but noisy), curtains had pin holes all over them, bed was very hard, towels very thin and no fitted sheet on mattress?, bathroom was recently remodeled though. Bring your own shampoo. Continental breakfast was good, limited hours from 8-10 am, and got very crowded very quickly. Pool was nice. Good location, close to port and many restaurants.
