Got both the and staff was aces. We had a great stay. typical of the Marriott chain. Found a deal on the smart phone in the parking lot.. Rooms were great with a handy bar in the lobby. They even cleaned off the snow from the car? Who does that? Close to whatever you need in Hadley Amherst. Ma. Including Zoe's restaurant. down the street.

overall good experience
Overall very good. I had to ask for a cable to connect to the ethernet and then ask again for the password. Suggest staff be trained to offer both of these things to everyone. Also, hotel said there was a problem with my credit card that was an error on the part of Orbitz and they said it happens all the time. Also it was a bit noisy -- kids running upstairs but that ended at about 9 pm. Only mildly inconvenient however. The room was very clean and comfortable. The cost was high for me ($179++). I don't know what the regular rate is but I intend to look it up to ascertain how much of a discount I got with Orbitz.

Bad attitude.
Unnecessary midnight visit to my room from an unidentified staff person threatening me and my wife if we didn't curtail our normal conversation. Not excessively loud at all. Then, no remorse from the staff the next morning. Inexcusable!

Courtyard Hadley Amherst
My wife and I have stayed at this place a number of times when we needed an overnight place near Amherst. It's a perfect upper 3-star hotel. Not a lot of frills, but comfortable beds, quiet, and great bathrooms.

Great.
It was a great hotel to meet in for a family occasion. The room was ample, the hanging out area comfortable. Comfy bed and pillows. Nice and close to Amherst.

Great bed comfort and pillows
very adequate for us, great rooms, unfortunate in that we were there for a family wedding(parents of the bride) and the hotel was not accomodating to book 1 night stays in advance. Could not get a room even for bride and groom and then saw people booking 1 night stays while we were there.
