Spacious, quiet, very clean, wonderful fireplace, well-equipped kitchen, very helpful staff, plus a full tasty breakfast including eggs, sausage, yogurt, fresh fruits, fresh made waffles, and more. We were visiting family and touring sites in Salem which was a short, easy drive from Danvers. Finding the hotel is challenging - remember it is on the Northbound side of US 1, it has a small hotel sign, and most importantly, the driveway is between the Hardcover Restaurant and TGIFridays. We are planning to return again soon.

Nice, clean, friendly and good food
Staff was super friendly and the rooms were very clean and homey. It is a little noisy as it sits right off the highway. Also, the rooms to not have wireless access which is a must for every hotel serving business customers in today's world.

Very nice...bad entrance
We went to tour Salem, Gloucester, and Boston! The sights were great although driving was a bit hectic! The entrance to the hotel wasn't at the hotel but next door... Should have a bigger sign at the entrance! Breakfast was very good!

Salem was great to walk and take tours in. Gloucester was beautiful and easy to find!

clean and comfortable
The room was large and comfortable,for the price. It including a kitchenette and working fire place(duraflame logs available at desk). The management and staff were very pleasant and helpful.The complimentary breakfast offered a large selection for all tastes. My only complaint about this establishment is it's location. It's on the northbound side of US1 just before rt. 114 east exit, and the sign is easy to miss. The driveway is between the "Hardcover" Restauraunt and "TGI Fridays". In spite of the proximity to multiple highways, the room we stayed in was very quiet.

The Hardcover restaurant and Fridays are both accessible from the driveway and are easy to get to by car or on foot. The Hardcover is upscale and somewhat pricy, but nice attmosphere and good food. Good for a romantic meal or to entertain a good client. Fridays is more casual whith a selection for all budgets.

Weekend in Salem
It was a nice room, more like an apartment than a hotel room. We were in building 9 which was on the outskirts of the premises which I was not thrilled about. The actual hotel room was amazing.

Great service
This was the 2nd time we chose a Residence Inn by Marriott, the first was in Phoenix now this one in Boston. We arrived late in Boston due to a delay in flight. Night staff was friendly and accomidating. In the morning, breakfast was fabulous and check out was a breeze. I would HIGHLY recommend a Residence Inn by Marriott.

My review of Residence Inn by Marriott Boston - North Shore/Danvers
the hotel at this time needs to be refurbushed. The out side really needs attention. The location is difficult..WE WERE knowledgable of the area,but found it difficult to get to. The sign was low and not very visible. The entrance was really through a parking lot for two restaurants..
