Our Weekend Stay

We went up to the Boston area for a quick weekend. Friday night was uneventful, although some people directly over the room that we were staying in sounded like they were either in a Gym or the bed was very loud squeaking! It sounded like footsteps when we first went to sleep. Saturday night: We went to sleep at around 11:45, and from then to 3am, we heard the slamming of doors and people yelling almost constantly. I finally called the front desk to ask them to check it out. They did and a little while later, it stopped. It ended up being a wedding party that were made up of not only LOUD people, but just plain inconsiderate. If, when the hotel management went to them to ask them to stop and they did not, actually I'd have an easier time with it, because that would tell me that they were drunk and out of control. But when they stopped after they were asked --- that just means that they inconsiderate, narcissistic people. I can't believe that the entire hotel (very large place, my guess at least 300 rooms) were totally booked up and they put a couple of two right NEXT to a room where a wedding party was. I guess nobody has any brains anymore, or if they do, they're not used. The next morning when I checked out, they did give me a voucher for a free night at ANY Courtyard hotel and explained to me that they could not give me a 'refund' since I booked through a third party. So, #1. Don't stay at this hotel. And #2. I guess the moral is that you pay more money and you book through the hotel itself. If anything ever happens, you could get a refund. This way, I have a voucher that is worth one free night. Close to meaningless for me. Oh, yes.. the TV was a nice set and lots of cable stations. Maybe that's the reason to stay here? They charged an outrageous amount of money for breakfast, which we didn't do.. No 'Breakfast nook' like hotels in the area at half the price. Trying to be positive here --- nice grounds and nice parking lot. Nice rug in the lobby. NO indoor swimming pool, only an outside one. Really???

my stay

The stay was fine experience, I think I paid more than what the experience was worth. I believe the price of the room was expensive and was not worth what I paid for. The hotel was very clean and quiet.

Nice Location...

Hotel was in a good location, by resturants and a cute little town. But the sound barrier between rooms was aweful. I literial thought the people above were going to come throught the floor at night. U could hear people talking in the next door, and doors slamming all night. I was ready to check out on the second day there, but would have lost the next nights fee. Would not stay at this hotel ever again.

Nice accommodations

We were on a sisters/friends' girl trip. The Courtyard was typical of previous Courtyard hotels I have stayed in. The staff was friendly and very accommodating - plus there was a Target nearby in case we needed anything. I'd stay there again if we were traveling that direction.

clean and roomy

liked the location, lots to do with mall across street. found ammenities a little decieving, pool outdoors only, breakfast extra not included. most hotels i have stayed at in past include a small breakfast. Other than expecting those 2 thing, stay was enjoyable. rooms were spacious and comfortable.
