Motel 6 SpringfieldChicopee

We went to Mountain Park in Holyoke for a concert and decided to stay over at the last minute. This motel was the closest, so we booked one night. The location is good- very close to the Pike and within a few minutes drive to restaurants, etc. The motel itself is not good. The whole thing is very dingy and smells of old smoke and mildew. The ice machines in the hall were leaking all over the floor. Our room was clean, but dark and very dated. The furniture is not comfortable at all, there was linoleum on the floor and one plug (that we could find) in the whole room. Bathroom was clean, but nothing more. Towels and sheets were scratchy and have seen better days. Cigarette burns on the comforter, in a non-smoking room. For the money (about $75), we didn't expect the Ritz, but we at least thought it would be renovated (mentioned in the listing!) somewhat. There are many similarly priced hotels/motels in the area- I wouldn't recommend this one.

As all moderately-rated accommodations in the region were inexplicably booked this past weekend, I was forced to make a reservation at this Motel 6. It was all old Formica and cigarette burns; it had a decades-old television and literally zero free power outlets (I had to jimmy free the plug of a wall lamp to use its outlet, which was conveniently hidden by a built-in desk). There was no shampoo in the shower, just the standard tiny bar of cheap soap. That said, it was a $60 room, and it was quiet.. I can't complain too much.

Clean Hotel

Easy check in, clean room, good area for shopping and restraunts.

In town for a party and needed a place to stay. This was a good hotel for the money.

The motel staff was very helpful and friendly. It was a nice location for what I needed. Was ver clean I can not complain, for the money was a good stay.

For the price, we were not expecting too much. The bathroom was not that clean, and there were cigarette burns in the sheets. The cost of the hotel made it worth it to stay there.

Good rate found on [...]..Very dog friendly hotel, but hotel did NOT honor the [...] rate or stay duration! Charged me MORE plus locked us out of the room when all of our stuff was still in it. They "accidentally" checked us out a day early, when my reservation was still for another day! Took 45 min for them to let us back into our room. Would not let us into our room until we paid AGAIN, even though we had already paid for the night.. Said it was a computer glich.. NOT fun!! Ended up charging us more than the [...] rate. Said I had to call corporate office to get issue resolved. Would only recommend staying there if you are a dog person wanting to be close to the Big E.

We arrived late & frazzled after a long, long drive. The staff was welcoming and friendly making check-in a pleasure. The room was large and clean with comfy seating to unwind in. Just down the road there were several restaurants and lots of stores to pick up those forgotten items.

The staff was unfriendly from the start. I had to talk to them through a window at 10pm, not a good sign right there. They neglected to tell me that the roofing job that had started 8-15 was still going on, signs posted stated 8-15 for one month and this was close to 2 months. 7:00am the work started not a great way to start Saturday morning. The widows in the room are of such poor quality that anyone outside sounded like they were in the room. There seemed to be a race track in the parking lot with cars screeching their tires all night long. The towels were not very clean and neither was the bathroom, felt like I needed shoes on to take a shower.
