Wyndham Boston Chelsea

A better stay surrounding by good staff at Wyndham hotel in Chelsea, MA.

Hotel was a drive from Boston, but much more affordable, clean, comfortable. A value for those who are willing to stay a little outside town!

We chose this hotel as our nice, but not extravagant hotel for a trip to Boston. While it was not in the nicest area, I felt comfortable for our stay. It was convenient to highways and other areas, and we were able to get into downtown Boston within 30 minutes using the T. We got room service breakfast one day; while slightly expensive, it was well worth the value. My boyfriend is obsessed with pancakes and he said these were some of the best he's ever had.

This hotel is in a good location with everything within walking distance (shopping, grocery, food, etc). The room is a bit small but everything else is great. The bed is very comfortable. All amenities are there.

Main purpose to come to town was so my son could visit Berklee College. My son is 15 and my 11 year old daughter also came. We stayed for 3 nights visiting Harvard, museums, and the Aquarium. Great place to stay in order to save a few bucks by staying outside Boston. I picked this hotel based on other reviews. The hotel is fairly new so this was definatly a value. The surrounding area is a little run down, but I always felt safe with with two young kids. Everyone was friendly. About a half mile away is a huge grocery store if your looking to buy food and snacks rather than eating out for meals. They close at 9:00pm though. The hotel shuttles you to and from the subway (located at the airport) and the service is free and without problems. The bedding was immaculate and the room was perfect for the price we paid. A great value. The other guests were pilots and what appeared to be other families visiting schools or people on business for short stays. I would stay here again. I've stayed at 4 star hotels that equaled my stay here. My only concern would be in a few years when the hotel starts getting a little worn. The highlight of the hotel is that everything is new and it's a value for someone traveling with kids trying to save a little bit of money.

Wonderful people, helpful staff and a great tidy room, and we also were given one with a great view. The view, unfortunately, is on a not-so-pretty part of the city, but it's the hotel that counts, so far as I am concerned. We were there with a little kid, and unfortunately the hotel does not have much geared towards them. The most shallow part of the swimming pool starts too deep to allow my child (in other hotels it's been a bit more shallow), and the same goes with the jacuzzi. The restaurant in-room menu has no items listed for children either, which obviously doesn't help, thought the restaurant staff were very helpful in telling us their kid stuff... All in all, we did have a very good experience and so long as you're not looking for a great view of the beach or the Charles, and so long as you don't mind being about 5 minutes from downtown Boston, I certainly recommend this hotel!

This hotel was a great deal! The room was clean, was a very nice size, had a microwave, fridge, and flat screen tv. The bed was very comfortable (my boyfriend could not stop raving about it, haha). We did not use the pool or fitness center so cannot rate those. The front desk staff were nice and helpful, however the housekeeping staff was a bit funny about bringing us towels (which was probably the only downside) meaning they did not bring towels when we asked for them but conversely brought us new towels right before we checked out. Location-wise it is a short drive from Boston. We did not use the shuttle service but rather drove. Parking at the hotel is free which was also a plus. Overall I found it worth the money and would stay again!

Our stay here was pleasant. My wife and I were both surprised that everything worked out as well as it did having stayed at other hotels in the Boston area with not such good experiences. Staff was professional and courteous. Parking was free and convenient. The room was clean and airy. We did not use the restaurant or other hotel facilities so cannot comment on those. While not a 5-star hotel one could not ask for too much more and the price was reasonable. I will recommend this hotel and further will not hesitate to book a room there on future trips to Boston.

15minus to the airport and free transportation. I need to get to the airport at 6 early morning. the shuttle bus take me to the exat terminal taking only 15 minues. easy to get to blue line and transfer to other trolley line. Good for students attending meeting in Boston and so on.
