overnight stay
the hotel was as expected. it was clean, the staff was friendly and my room was as-advertised. the gym was small but functional. the restaurant was mediocre. it was a good value for the price. i would stay here again.

Nice Stay
First time with Kimpton hotels, and the Marlowe in Cambridge, MA is wonderful. Great staff, beautiful and clean rooms and common spaces. They need to rotate the stock in the mini-bar in the room, but other than that, a fantastic experience. I'd stay with them again in an instant. A bit of a walk to the Lechemere T, especially if you have luggage. Better off taking a cab.

Excellent stay
I had a wonderful time. It doesn't get any better than leopard print bathrobes in the closet!!! Stay was January 2013 but 2013 was not yet an option.

Harvard Square "Upstairs at the Square": Beautiful interior, but don't tell them you're not in a hurry-took 1.5 hrs to get our food.

the hotel is amazing that provide fencing room, close to the subway station that takes about 15 min walking.

Pleasant Stay
This is a luxury hotel with out the price tag! There were many other hotels in the same Boston area with the same or higher rates but not nearly as nice. Spacious room, Lots of extras in the room like iron, hair dryer, all lotions, newspaper. Nice upscale restaurant downstairs. About a third of a mile walk to the subway, but still worth it. So nice to come back to at night!

Conference trip to Boston
No disappointments from this hotel chain. The hotel is located adjacent to a shopping center - Cambridge Galleria and close to MIT and Harvard. I felt very comfortable walking. Also, the public transportation, the T, is great (crowded at time during peak hours) and within walking distance at the Leachmere Station ($2.00 fare to downtown). The taxi fare to downtown is $10.00. The taxi fare from the airport (Logan) is $30.00. The taxi rides can be an adventure - skilled taxi drivers. The restaurant served a fantastic meal, offering a chef's summer menu. Do not forget about the afternoon tea or wine offering. The variety was excellant and the atmosphere was fantastic. The hotel has views of the downtown Boston skyline or the canal and walking areas. The hotel staff is very accomodating. I would choose this hotel again if I return to the area! You will enjoy your stay whether for business or pleasure.

nice and cozy
that's a very nice and classy place, in a good and convenient neighborhood -- 15 min taxi drive to the heart of Cambridge, 5 min drive or 25 min walk to North Boston with all the Italian restaurants and cafes. There are also a few good quality restaurants within a short walking distance. Just next to a big mall, so it's easy to grab a quick breakfast and lunch. The hotel offers free tea in the morning, and (I believe) wine tasting in the evening, which was quite appealing. In short, choosing between a few hotels in the area, I would recommend [...]
