Renovation disappointment

I read reviews online and for the price the hotel seemed perfect. When we checked in we were told hotel was undergoing renovation but it will not distrupt our 4 night stay. Of course that was not true. I was staying there for new years weekend to be close distance to boston. Went to bed pretty late and wanted to sleep but we were woken up by sounds of hammers and nails banging on the ceiling. When I called the front desk, I was told it was the renovation and nothing can be done about it. Renovation was on 1st and 4th floor. We switched to 2nd floor but that did not help either. Very frustrating. We had also received letter from the gm about renovation and that it would not disrupt our stay. If it weren't the renovation disruptions I would recommend hotel to anyone else.

Good Hotel for the price in this area

I've stayed at a number of hotels in the area and so far this has been the best one, the prices in the Burlington/Waltham area to me are really upside down. I could pay less for a 4 star hotel in downtown Chicago than I would for a pretty trashy hotel out in the burbs of Boston. My comments on this hotel: 1. location. It's both right off the highway and also somewhat secluded and quiet. 2. It has a restaurant on the premises that is open till 10pm nightly and serves breakfast in the morning. 3. The rooms were comfortable, clean. Nothing felt old or worn out. 4. Internet was so-so, though honestly it's the rare hotel these days that actually has fast internet. 5. I didn't use it, but there is a pretty good sized in-door pool if that is your thing.. So in general I have nothing to complain about, no it's not a "great" hotel, but compared to the flea-bags I stayed in and in one case paid even MORE for the pleasure right around there it's not bad.

Convenient Location to Boston

It was a very convenient location as I visited Boston quite often over the long weekend and also attended the Patriots game in Foxborough. Short drive into Boston and to the airport. Not too bad a drive to Foxborough.

Perfect for me

Room was large and clean. It had a nice chair to read in, a fridge and a microwave. Free wireless or wired internet access. Didn't eat at the restaurant but grabbed a drink at the bar. I will stay there again

Average, but great location and friendly staff!

this was your average Hilton garden inn, but the location being right next to the mall with plenty of shopping restaurants, and close to the highway made it a great find.

clean and comfortable

OK, great place but nothing is perfect. The "credit card only" vending machines were a bit weird when you just want a soda with your loose change at the end of the day. More towels needed, but there was plenty of comfortable bedding (extra pillows, great blankets and compfy mattresses). If you threw a hot-tub next to the pool, that would have been heavenly. I missed breakfast but my family said it was great.

a lovely room

We were in MA to attend a memorial service for the father of our daughter-in-law. Location was convenient and breakfast buffet was more than enough for two senior citizens! Mattress was not as firm as wife would have liked, but rest of accommodations were comfortable. Staff were most pleasant.

Nice and quite

We were in Burlington MA for a family event and stayed there for one night only. Got a very good impression – comfortable, quite, conveniently near highway, but we did not hear it at all. There was only one small glitch-right near hotel our GPS lost connection so we missed it 1st, but returned and found it in 5 minutes. Check-in did not take any time and when I asked (thank you, reviewers) where my room is located (and it was 2nd from elevator) to change it to something better – they right away found 3rd from elevator on a different floor. So sounds did not bother us at all through the night. I have some problems with my back, but have to admit – bed was pretty comfortable and the quality of bedding was really good. Nice big TV. But coffeemaker was very cheap. We did not have time to use any amenities. Overall it was a good experience, would definitely recommend it. I wish it would be cheaper...

Great New England Travel

In general the hotel is very nice although beginning to show some wear. The staff was very responsive to all our needs. The courtesy car did not go to the airport but did go to the commuter station. There was an adequate breakfast but cost $10 for full and $6 for the complimentary. We really enjoyed our stay and would return.
