Very nice facility, It would have been better if there were an elevator to the third floor. Stairs are steep narrow and curved to the third floor. Other then that it was a very enjoyable stay.

charming
Only 2 blocks from the Green "C" line for the T making it easy to get in to downtown Boston in about 20 minutes. There is not much of interest near the B&B and though there were several resturaunts within a few blocks, no traditional, Italian, or seafood places nearby and why would you go to Boston for a steady diet of oriental and middle eastern food?

Great Time
We stayed at the inn for our trip to Fenway park for the Red Sox game against the Rays and had an amazing time. The building was amazing looking and the room was the best. Everything about it was great and I had absolutely no complaints.

Great location, great price!
The desk person was always friendly and very helpful. The Inn was lovely. For the proximity to Boston, this was a very good value. It's a short, one block walk to a stop on the T (Boston's subway, which is above ground at that point). Nice area around the inn, felt very safe walking, even at night. The breakfast was mostly continental with a warm apple/bread pudding the morning we were there. There is always coffee, a variety of teas, hot chocolate and juice available as well as nuts, dried fruit, chocolate covered almonds (they were very good!), and cookies. I would definitely stay here again and would not hesitate to recommend it to a friend.

Super Stay at Samuel Sewall
From the time I arrived until the time I left six days later, my stay was wonderful. The delicious breakfasts kept me going until dinner. And the always available snacks, coffee and juice were an added bonus. Free WiFi lets you stay in touch. The one block walk to the Green Line (MBTA) and the few blocks to the restaurants and shops of Coolidge Corners made it easy to attend a convention at the Boston Convention Center whose nearby hotels and restaurants were prohibitively expensive. Two warnings: my room was on the third floor, with no elevators. Not a problem for me, but might be for others. Also, if you are allergic to feathers, let them know in advance. Having stayed at many B&Bs, the Samuel Sewall Inn ranks among the best. I'd return there in a moment, the next time my travels might take me to Boston.

If you're on a budget, and not renting a car, take public transit to your destination. I planned the place I stayed because it was so close to the MBTA. The cost to get from the airport to my stop was $2 (that's right, two dollars!) and very easy to manage.

Great Place To stay
Our room was clean and charming. It even had a fireplace, and they had fluffy hotel robes. Unfortunately we slept too late to enjoy the free breakfast, but the cookies they set out at were very tasty.
