way overpriced for the value
the rooms are ordinary....the decor is sixties...the amenities are very sparing...other than new countertops, the bathrooms are nothing special. no coffee in the lobby after the a.m., and the comforters are wafer thin... for the money, very poor value. i would not return.

Comfortable, clean, but . . .
We were in Boston to catch a baseball game. The hotel was convenient to the MBTA which we used. I found the staff, and the "BISTRO" concept not family-friendly. Meals and snacks available were too expensive. Front desk staff was aloof and matter of fact in their responses as if we should have known the answers instead of asking them. Cleaning crew was friendly and helpful and did a great job! I would recommend this hotel to business travelers and others with reservations.

Very Convenient
Good service. The toilet tank did not refill to flush. Once reported to the desk, it was fixed right away. Spotless room.

great view
Charming neighborhood and had a great view of the city from the 6th floor. A little far from the heart of Boston but a pretty easy drive with a GPS. Parking under the hotel with easy access in and out for 20$ extra per day. Clean with beautiful decor and super comfortable bed. Also very quiet/sound proofed. Slept like a rock all 3 nights. The room was chilly but maintenance was prompt to fix thermostat and sent blankets. No room service.

Avoid buying snacks or toiletries or alcohol in the hotel itself. Trader Joes is a short walk away and is much more reasonably priced.

Great value hotel!
Enjoyed the updated room and bathroom and that despite being closed to booked full, the hotel was quiet. I really liked that there were healthy eating options in the cafe. For the money, this hotel is hard to beat in the Brookline area!

great location, good hotel
This was the second time we stayed there. The location is terrific, and so is the hotel's design and amenities. There is free wi-fi. The parking costs extra, but is not very expensive for Boston. The only snag was that the hotel did not recognize initially our reservation as including breakfast -- we had to waste quite some time persuading the manager on duty.

Great location
Great location for shops and restaurants close to the T stop that can take you anywhere in Boston. Clean room and helpfull staff. Food service loacted in the lobby needs to be better trained on how to handle a rush of guest. They ran short on most items.

Absolutely Beautiful Room!!!!!!!
Beautiful room! High quality linens, comfortable bed, large bath tub. Lovely courtyard setting. Euro-chic dining/snack bar. Missed room service and regular restaurant. Seemed short staffed at front desk. Some good, some not so good.
