Unbeatable location for the price

I came to Boston College for study. Before going to school, I stayed here for two nights. No thing was missing during my stay. It was really enjoyable! We had 6 huge luggages, which were all carried upstairs by the front desk. They were indeed considerate. A best hotel that I had ever met. It is just beside the C Line.

Decent lodging for what we needed

Vintage lodging. Clean room, but the old cast iron radiator was set way too high the first night. Difficult to sleep when the temperature is so high. Second night was much better, more comfortable sleeping. Location was great for what we needed, we could walk to dining locations with ease. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Beacon Street Inn

If you want to experience what a family managed bed and breakfast is all about, you will not be disappointed in the Beacon Street Inn, a bit of history to go with it, 14 rooms that are named after some of our foundering fathers and historical references. The staff are nothing short of providing "Outstanding Service" during your stay. Plenty of outstanding restaurants, pubs, holistic services in walking distance...however, if you are expecting hot tubs, swimming pools, Jacuzzi, the Beacon Street Inn is not for you... A whole lot of charm and you have to treat it like your own home... Truly a magical place for me during my stay....cannot wait until I can return with my wife.. To truly enjoy the feel as a part of Boston, this is a must stay !!

Ignore the Bad Reviews!!

Checked in late evening. Friendly staff. Large comfortable well-lit 1st floor room (Sam Adams room). Clean crisp sheets, hardwood floors shining, large bath with hot hot water + decent pressure. Stayed New Years' weekend and place was mostly quiet. Rooms well insulated to sound. Especially liked how room and hotel didn't smell of any old stale cigarette smoke. Location is fantastic. Price is amazing. I booked late in the game before i read all the bad reviews and was nervous. After my stay i have no idea why the bad reviews. I spoke to another guest who also didn't understand the bad reviews.

The Beacon Inn near Boston

The hotel is in a very old house in Brookline. It was entirely adequate for a cheap place to sleep, near Boston, on the subway line. I felt safe and had a safe parking space for my car. Decor is old. Kids who checked me in very nice and accommodating.

Nice Place

As advertised, its "quaint" and has some interesting features. The room was comfortable and quiet, even though it was up front and overlooking the T.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

A plethora of sidewalk cafes and other eateries within a short distance. Washington Square and Cleveland Circle are both a short walk. If you like fitness walking or jogging, the reservoir area by Cleveland Circle is great.
