The Midtown Hotel Boston, Mass

Well first off I took the picture to mean it was a high rise hotel. Not so.. two story.... The room was outdated and drab. It was hot and there was no air conditioning available for us. Opened a small window with no screen on it. We moved out the next day....

Convenient

Convenient location for where I was visiting. Hotel needs a refresh as fairly dim and uninviting. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Easy parking for Boston! Room is good value for the rate and convenient if all you need is a place to sleep. No real amenities in hotel but plenty of restaurants within short walk

Great for musicians

Just down the street from the Boston Symphony, this modest hotel is clean and has friendly personnel. The rooms are large (compared to NYC). Wireless internet for a modest fee - this hotel makes sure you know what you're paying for. The location is fantastic.

Simple, great location

I've stayed at the Midtown twice and had a nice experience both times. It's a very average hotel with no frills and few amenities, but the rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff is friendly and helpful and the location is fantastic.

Right around the corner is the oldest indoor/artificial ice rink in the world. Catching a college hockey game there is great and cheap fun for the whole family. It used to be the home of the Bruins and later the Whalers (bet you didn't know they played in Boston before Hartford and now Raleigh).

Overnight vacation trip to Boston during Christmas time

It was verey average. The location however is pretty good, just 5 minutes walking distance to the Prudential Towers. Other hotels not that far away provided complimentary breakfast at that price. Ok for one night stay.
