Amazing stay!
The Liberty Hotel is amazing and I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay my first time in Boston! The hotel is in close walking distance to Beacon Hill and Quincy Market. The two restaurants and bar were fun to experience and had great food and fun people watching (especially at night). The lobby turns into a fun party scene at night but the rooms in the tower allow you to escape any time you want to. Perfect place for singles or couples. Especially appreciated the huge tub, bath robe, slippers and comfy bed! AMAZING!

Short walk from hotel
Beacon Hill is just a few blocks up and has quaint boutiques, restaurants and bars. Very fun. A bit of a longer walk (less than a mile) is Quincy Market along the Freedom Trail. Both are great to experience.

Good Hotel. [...]
The staff was amazing. [...] When I got to the hotel, we were given 2 twin beds. Not romantic. The staff at the hotel was so nice. He comped our parking, offered us free breakfast, and listened to everything we had to say. [...] I would give the hotel and it's staff 5 stars[...]

One of the best hotels I have ever been
This was one of the best hotels I have ever been to and it totally stands out in decor and style. The staff was so unbelieveably friendly you thought you were on hidden camera. You can just tell they loved their jobs. Hot spot for the 20-30somethings. Great location. I am returning soon... hopefully.

no hot water in the shower, but good bar
This hotel is very masculine in decor (considering it was an old jail - maybe it makes sense). I did not like it. We were bothered quite a lot to discover at 5:00 pm when we were trying to take showers for the evening out that the water was ice cold. I called to complain. They were very polite and explained that they had not had hot water all day and were not quite sure when it would return. We would have appreciated knowing that when we checked in....maybe we would have gone elsewhere....Anyway, the gave us a complimentary breakfast (only for one, when my husband and I were both there), and offered us a complimentary private car ride to the airport to make up for the water situation. The bar in the lobby was so packed and crazy when we came in Friday night, I felt uncomfortable walking in to a sea of drunken twenty-somethings. I would not go back to this hotel ever. I prefer a place that is a bit more civilized!!

Luv this hotel!
This is the 2nd time I've been to this hotel. I love the lobby area and also love how they have a restaurant that turns into a nice hotspot late at night. The location is great and the rooms were clean, but I must say that I expect a little more from the furniture in the room compared to the lobby of the hotel. I also like how in Clink restaurant, you can sit right next to a window with bars in it to get the "jailhouse" feel. Pretty Cool![...]It is very much within walking distance of a lot of restaurants and shopping. Oh, and I also love how they give you a glass of champagne upon checking in; nice touch!
