Rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows with skyline views, bedding with imported linens and HD LCD TVs. The hotel offers complimentary Wi-Fi and 6,000 square feet of meeting space, with a ballroom able to accommodate a formal sit-down dinner for 225 guests.

Went out of our way for this disappointing stay
This hotel has degraded in the past few years. From poor customer service, to scratchy towels, cheap robes & bed linens- the stay has been an absolute disaster. The staff made it worse by making me feel discriminated against as an orbtz customer. Very upset about the entire experience.

Fantastic!
No complaints - everything was great. Great location, within walking distance of parks, shopping, water, site seeing, and the subway terminal is directly across the street, making getting around the city very easy & convenient. The history of the building is very interesting as well. Great time - highly recommend.

GREAT HOTEL - wish there was a 4.5 rating!
We've been in Boston several times a year for the past 5 years, & have always stayed at one of the "big" hotel names (starts with an M). This time, the rooms there were really expensive, so we decided to try the Liberty. What a great experience! The staff was superb, we loved the history of the place, the location was fantastic -- Red Line T stop right across the street, & a lovely walk down charming Charles Street to The Commons. The reason for a half star "cut"? My hub was really wishing for a fan in the bathroom....other than that, we much preferred the Liberty to our old standby. We had originally chosen that one because we could take our dog with us --- however, the Liberty is dog-friendly, too! We can't wait to go back!

A perfect place for a tourist visit to Boston
The Liberty Hotel is at the charming end of Charles Street with interesting shops and restaurants, a T stop across the street (with a CVS pharmacy), and a short walk from the Boston common and Boyleston shopping. Everything was superb. Only four stars (rather than five) for amenities since there's not a lobby shop (with soda and such - but the CVS across the street is perfect) and the gym is very small and viewless, the side chair in the slightly small room may be lovely but is too stiff to be comfortable, and the fun party weekend atmosphere in the lobby (with a fabulous Japanese babe saxophone player in the jazz group on Friday) left little messes around the lobby.

Vacation
This hotel is absolutely beautiful! The staff is amazing. We dealt with a lady named Kate at the front desk and she was awesome!!! We were there for the fashion show on the Thursday night and because we were guests of the hotel we were able to make reservations for the Catwalk and was able to watch it all from there.

Not worth a second stay!
My boyfriend and I are frequent travelers for business and pleasure. We are both platnium members with SPG and are pretty loyal to the collection of hotels by Starwood. We booked a luxury hotel room with a city view...The word luxury is the joke! The rooms are small and poorly designed for a luxury hotel. The showers size was about 3' X 3' so very small and uncomfortable...housekeeping forgot to do our room the first day...after a full day of site seeing we got back to the hotel around 6pm...our room still not cleaned...called the front desk and they said they would have housekeeping do it within 1 hr...we left for dinner and came back 3 hours later and still NO CLEAN ROOM! This time a call to the manager on duty had housekeeping there within the 1/2 hour. Conceirge service wasn't that wonderful either...we asked for recommendations for fine dining and he suggested a place that was called the Summer Shack...it had picnic benchs??? Lobster was good but not what we asked for...??? The bellman & doormen were great best part of this Luxury Hotel! Save your money for a different Boston Hotel.

Design, ambiance and location are the strong points of the hotel. Urban setting, comfortable rooms and helpful staff. Saturday night is a boisterous, lively time but our room was quiet at all times. Great place to stay in Boston for walks and dining in Beacon Hill.
