best kept secret

A small elegant hotel that is full of old world charm...the staff are extremely helpful and friendly and it is a short walk to the fun shops and cafes of Newbury Street. The Museum of Fine Arts is a nice walk but also an easy commute on the subway. Highly recommend it to many friends and family.

accurate

we walked to Fanuel hall and the North End which was easy and took around 35 to 45 minutes . We are in good shape and it is our habit to walk considerable distances in cities we are visiting . For people with our travel habits the hotel is perfect.

Dining tip: Long walk from hotel

Take a long walk to the North End with a plan to dine early between 1700 and 1800 hrs. Choose your favorite style Italian Resturaunt and with luck you will be seated. You might want to research your choices before you start.

Comfortable, great location.

The room was very comfortable. I liked the extra room and wet bar that was part of the suite. Drink prices in the wet bar were actually reasonable. Great location - short walk to Newbury and Boyleston Streets.

Such a jewel!

This was my first stay @ The Eliot. I come to Boston regularly to visit my sister and family. I was delighted to enjoy this newfound boutique Hotel, and plan all subsequest trips to revolve around a reservation here. Top notch restaurant as well. Quiet elegance amidst a vital metro area.
