Awful noisy terrible hotel stay

Awful hotel stay. Hotel was hosting thousands of students as part of a conference they were hosting. My room was between 2 hotel rooms that EACH had FOUR students. There was a lot of noise in the hallway too. Why would they put a business customer between two rooms with kids?? Awful. Staff was noisy too. Hallways are not NASCAR tracks. Keep it quiet!!!

Faulty heating system and extremely negative experience

1/6/13 Room did not have a working heating system that would allow the guest to self adjust the heat. On the 14th floor with room (1420) heat registering 77. Only way to adjust was to open the window which was very difficult. Only large strong man could adjust window. Engineering called and reported to guest, the only way to adjust heat was to open window. He opened it too much! Could not close, and when temp when down in room below 65, the old heating system kicked on with the sound of a mac truck in the room. Window could not be closed as it was too tight. Woken up 4 times during the night, with aweful sound and freezing Feedback provided at check out to manager-Lois Romerez or Rodriguez, who did not follow up as promised. This room should not be sold to customers. It is unethical marketing, to sell a room with malfunctioning heating systems.

Very small room

The room I was given was so small I could barely unpack anything from my suitcase. The bathroom was terribly cramped, and I almost broke my toe on the corner of the tub just navigating from the toilet to the sink. Not inclined to stay there again.

Could the shower be any smaller?

I've stayed at the Park Plaza several times, I must have been in the smallest room on the property. I just sleep so I really don't care that much about sq footage, the bathroom, shower in particular, was ridiculously small.

Avoid Petitie Suite

I had the misfortune of having one of the Petite Suites that was right next to the Elevator shaft. The walls are so thin that all I could hear was the rush of the elevator cabs ushering guests up and down the shaftway. Not to mention that there was still trash in the trash can from the last guest and the shower is so small you turn around and half the bathroom gets soaked too. I will never stay there again.

Just Ok...too pricey compared to price...

Based on my stay at few other hotels, I find this hotel to be more pricey and with less amenities...like the gym is under renovation, no swimming pool, very crowded, no basic complimentary stuff which is often included in many hotels like internet, no airport shuttle, breakfast, gym, swimming pool etc... So rated it just Ok because someone from house keeping did a good job and kept the room really clean... Hitesh

cold!

A little down at heel, this one. Windows that look into the other rooms across the way meant keeping the blinds down all the time. It was a cold week in Boston and the heating in the hotel wasn't up to the task. More importantly, I was part of a large conference centre group, and I think everyone showered at the same time of day -- and I awoke one morning to a *cold shower*!! I'm afraid the absence of hot water at 7 am in a hotel in the middle of winter is a dealbreaker. The staff were friendly enough, but were not willing to offer me any refund for the inconvenience. Also, note that wireless internet is approximately $13/day.
