Christmas Time in Boston

The holiday decorations in the hotel were especially festive. We enjoy the proximity to the theatre district, The T and restaurants. The Park Plaza has been and will continue to be our hotel of choice when visiting Boston.

excellent experience

The room and bathroom were clean and attractive. Not a huge space, but perfectly adequate for a family of 3 adults. We had no bleed-through of sound whatsoever. The lobby is huge and quite elegant, with free wi-fi (wi-fi connection in rooms costs extra). Staff was extremely friendly and helpful from those at the lobby desks to the room cleaners. One caveat: Be sure to order breakfast from the menu: DO NOT TAKE FROM THE SELF-SERVE OFFERINGS! From the menu, food was not cheap, but good. From the self-serve area, it cost a king's ransom! We saw friends and acted as tourists for 3 days. Highly recommend the Duck tour and just walking around. Saw Chinatown, the North End, near the Acquarium, and around Copley Square. The N.E. Geneological Society was a fascinating find. The Park Plaza was the perfiect pied-a-tierre for our adventures.

Perfect Location

Very classy hotel, the bed was wonderful, even the view out the window was decent. Had to the pay for WiFi, but it was such a good deal, I didn't mind. Concierge extremely helpful. Parking was near. Just need to be prepared for a little extra tipping. Just 1 block from the Boston Gardens and the T!

best weekend

for the price, this hotel is AMAZING. it's location is IDEAL and all the staff are helpful. the view from your rooms (if you're above the 10th floor) is great and everything needed is somewhere around the hotel. parking is somewhat of a hassle so it's better to just rely on the valet parking that the hotel provides. all in all, the next time in boston, i don't want to stay anywhere else.

Money-saving tip: Not Applicable

if you're going to boston you might be attracted more toward a cheaper hotel located myb 10mls out the center. the free parking is good, but this hotel is worth the stay and for a few bucks more it is def an UPGRADE from you're average hotel chain franchise. diverse food places are within 5min walks and i enjoyed pf changs and legal seafood that were both 1 block away.
