STILL GORGEOUS

THIS HOTEL MAY HAVE BEEN BUILT MANY YEARS AGO BUT IT IS STILL A VERY CLASSY, BEAUTIFUL PLACE TO STAY. TWO BATHROOMS IN OUR ROOM WAS A TOTALLY UNEXPECTED BONUS THAT I HAVE NEVER SEEN IN A HOTEL ROOM. PERFECT FOR THREE WOMEN. MY FRIENDS AND I WOULD DEFINITELY STAY HERE AGAIN. WONDERFUL VALUE FOR A REALLY GORGEOUS PLACE.

My favorite part of my Boston trip!

Staying at this hotel was heaven sent. It was my first trip to Boston, and I was a solo traveler so I didn't have a clue where to stay. After a quick search on the net, I found this place at such an amazing value. I figured for the price I was paying that it might be lacking somewhere or another but I was dead wrong. It was extremely CLEAN and cozy, my room definitely had a decent size (I was quite impressed), with an excellent view of the city (facing the park). I got a kick out of the Keurig coffee machine in my room (just what I need to wake up every morning). And most importantly, the location was perfect, right in the center of everything. Overall, it was extremely pleasant and difficult to leave the next day. The only thing I would advise is to double-check internet access, the free wifi advertised when booking the room. I had to log onto Statler park wifi which was free but extremely slow. The hotel said they were having issues, so maybe it was just that one time. But I highly recommend this hotel and I'm certainly coming back here again!

great place

this place is great for location...you cant get better for a great price...it is an old historic place with many rooms...all different sized rooms...not a generic modern place...i think it is beautiful and perfectly located. if you have not been to boston and really just want to walk everywhere there is no reason to stay anywhere else. some folks prefer large fancy places, but i just loved its quaintness and charm. clean, well located, nice people etc etc

Good Location and pets friendly

The hotel has a great location. The public garden is next to it. If you like shopping, there are tons of shops around there, especially the copley place, where you can get all the luxury brands. The valet parking is a little pricy but you can find the street metered parking all over the place. The max is 2 hours, so do remember to move your car. It's free before 8am/after 8pm Monday to Saturday and all day on Sunday. They also take pets with $50 cleaning fee. Overall, it's a great hotel!

Awesome!

The hotel is perfectly located. I didn't realize this, but it is a very old hotel with a very rich history. The rooms are huge - mine had 2 bathrooms. It is both traditional and elegant and not too expensive if you book early. Beds are really comfortable and it is so quiet at night that you can really sleep well. The staff is super friendly. They have a gymn and nice places to eat. The service is outstanding. I wish there was one of these in every major city in the world. If there was, I wouldn't stay anywhere else.
