I Love this Hotel!!

The Boston Park Plaza is a wonderful place to stay while visiting Boston. The entire staff is extremely curteous. The room service is fast and of excellent quality. The room was clean and cozy yet very classy! The hotel was quiet at night so we had no trouble falling to sleep. I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Boston who would like to have a classy, wonderful place to stay!

Great Hotel and Great Location

Great hotel and great location, staff is very friendly. Only stayed a couple of nights and not used all amenities but my only complain is that the rooms are very old and have not been renovated, especially the bathroom. Water pressure is not very good and the bathroom very small. Other than that, a great place to stay and at a ver good price for Boston.

Not my expectations for a "Park Plaza Hotel"

Beautiful location, very impressed with everything about the expectations for the "Park Plaza" name how ever... Very dis satisfied with the cleanliness of the room such as while enjoying the bath after a long tiring day, the pedestal sink had noticeably dry brown something and the bathroom air vents had visible dust which hadn't been cleaned in months. The transitioning from door locks to key cards were visible once you closed the door as well as the wall paper seams coming undone... Just a few unacceptable items

Used to be a nice hotel

Everything seems run down. Updated bathroom is just a facelift still bad plumbing. Water in shower wasn't hot, and was rusty. Everything was needing touchup.

Relaxing quick family trip

We were there just one night Good Friday just before the marathon so the Hotel was very busy. They were helpful at the desk and the room was quiet and spacious. It's such a great location that even with a 9 year old and a 16 year old we all stayed happy.

Good location near the commons

Very near the Commons, Arlington T stop and good restaurants, the hotel is large but efficient at check in and check out. Room was very clean. It does charge for in room internet and TV was a bit awkwardly located for easy viewing unless you are in bed. Also hotel currently undergoing facade work that means workers are outside various walls so you are advised to appropriately safeguard your privacy.

Avoid

Lousy hotel, ranks at par w/ Holiday Inn/Eko in Lagos, Nigeria in the 1980s. very small room, bath in particular in great need of refurbishing. In terms of $$$/quality, one of the worst I've stayed in during 40 years of travel. Maybe the one who gave it four stars either (I# got some special room; or #ii# mixed up this hotel w/ e.g. Mandarin #excellent); or ......

Boston Marathon

Booked the Park Plaza at the last minute and we were not disappointed. We arrived early, expecting our room would not be ready were pleasantly surprised when the desk clerk handed over the key-cards. Used the Concierge to help us book a tour of Boston which we throughly enjoyed. #BostonStrong

Good Morning Construction and Workers at my Window!

Ive stayed at this property before and have had "ok" service and rooms. The rooms are tired and not very clean; The location is perfect. The staff - needs customer service training and better attitudes. On top of it all, I was woken up to construction being done right outside my window on the 7th floor, with men on scaffolding. Lovely! When I called down and complained, all I got was "yes, they are working on the building." - no, I was not warned; no, I did not receive a letter letting me know; no, they did not move my room OR give me a better rate. In Fact, the "manager" at the front desk recognized me as "an O____Customer" and said that is what I get. As though O____ customers are not worth their time or effort. I was baffled and complained. ESPECIALLY since I am a returning customer. I WILL NEVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL AGAIN.
