I loved the Boston Park Plaza!

It is in the most convenient location and is absolutely gorgeous inside and out. I will stay here time and time again. The double bed room I had even had two bedrooms, great for two females!

Best value in the area - Terrible shower conditions

I had the chance of staying in 2 different rooms. The first was standard full-size bed with a full size tub in the shower. The second was a queen-sized bed with THE SMALLEST SHOWER. Both rooms were tight which is not a major problem since they are clean and we spent the entire day out of the hotel. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The location is walking distance to most if not all (subjective term). Cons: You have to pay separately for valet parking, no self parking or free parking available came out to close to $50 per night. Pay for wifi in your room big turn off. Long lines for the elevator during rush hour.

Nice stay

Didn't need to stay in the room much so was okay with areas that we're lacking. Very nice for an older hotel however the a/c was stuck at 80 unable to change temp &/or turn off. No free wifi in room. And construction was a little disturbing but otherwise was a nice stay in a great central location. Would likely stay there again.

Exploring Boston

My boyfriend and I spent a few days in Boston and this hotel was perfect for us. A bit expensive, but worth it. We also booked quite last minute. The bed was amazing. I've seen a lot of reviews that say the rooms are small, but that should be expected when staying in this historic hotel. Plenty of room for us! The location is perfect, close to the Boston Common and we love the 1920s Art Deco feel to it.

Sightseeing tip: Long walk from hotel

Walk into Back Bay and visit the Prudential Building. Besides the shopping, there is an audio tour at the top with stunning views explaining the history of the city that is well worth the $16 entry fee.

Great Location and Value

This hotel was recently renovated and provides great value and the best location in downtown Boston. It's a large hotel where rooms are regularly available and I've stayed many times and never been displeased. Good in-house restaurant too (McCormick and Schmick). Comfortable rooms with good amenities too.

Old School Feel.

This hotel definitely has the charm from the early half of last century. However, comes with issues. I wasn't prepared for the tiny room and facities. My view of a brick wall didn't help either. That being said I didn't come to Boston to stay in the room, so it worked out.

Great Location, Friendly staff but needs systems upgrades

The hotel is lovely and everything was great with two exceptions. The elevators were dreadfully slow. There was often a line of people waiting even though there was a bank of six elevators. We could only see 2-3 working at one time and they stopped at every floor. Also the key cards took 3 tries everytime to unlock the door. It took 1/2 hour for valet service to bring us our car.
