Nice stay, great location.

We wanted to enjoy the city, hence we didn't spend a lot of time in the hotel, hence I cannot evaluate most of the amenities, however, the room was comfortable, and the lobby has a very nice environment, you feel like going back in time when you get in. The location is really great, one block away from the T, within walking distance of most attractions.

You can save the taxi fare, just take the T. It is really a one block walk from the Arlington green line T stop after an easy transfer.

Parents Weekend, Boston University

The first night was a disappointment because I was assigned a petite room; but, I was moved to a room in the Towers for the remaining 2 nights which was grand!

Nothing Special for the Price

I stayed one night while in Boston on a trip to Maine. We had states at B&Bs the entire trip besides for this night. The hotel was centrally located and had a nice bar. Although the room seemed dull and the hallways smelled like a locker room. My room was extremely hot too, and aftercoal ing the front desk I was told that the AC had been turned off for the year. I just felt like for the money I spent it was disappointing. The staff didn't seem very friendly or helpful either, but I guess that's Boston.

Nice couples getaway

The Park Plaza hotel seemed to offer the best value of hotels in downtown Boston. We were not disappointed in the quality of amenities or friendliness of the staff. The location next to Boston Commons park was fantastic and was also fairly convenient to walk to major historical sites on the Freedom Trail. Our queen bed room and the bathroom were somewhat small as is typical of older hotels so this seems to be a better spot for couples versus families.

Short stay in Boston

Spent a few nights in Boston, a different hotel each night. Out of all 3 places I stayed the Park Plaza Hotel was easily the most expensive and yet definitely the worst of the bunch. The room was tiny, there were giant chips of paint missing from the ceiling, wallpaper sections unglued and curling up and did I mention how small the room was? Other places I stayed included free WIFI but Park Plaza wanted $13 a day to use theirs. The view from the room was also terrible, our room faced nothing but a brick wall opposite a small alley. Will never be staying at this place again, I consider it a rip off for what they offer compared to how much they charge. Avoid!

Great Historic Hotel

This was a great historic hotel providing excellant customer service in a beautiful part of the city. The rooms, however, were extremely small and not as clean as you would expect for the price of the room.

One night stay

The hotel was clean and comfortable. We liked the location as it was near Boston Commons. Nice, short stay. We used room service twice, the food was good and the service was quick. The prices and service charges seem high though. We would return.

will recommend it

Overall I have a good experience with the Hotel. Walking distance from all great places in Boston. Easy access to the T and great restaurants all around. Breakfast at the hotel was super expensive. $ 25.00 per person.
