Great Location

We were in town to celebrate Thanksgiving with our son, and the location of the hotel was perfect. The check-in and check-out staff, the house cleaning staff, and Fitzgerald, bartender in the lounge, were all wonderful! Everyone made us feel very welcome. When we got home we realized we left some of our clothes hanging in the closet and the staff that handled that were also very nice to deal with. Thanks for a great stay!!!! Our only complaint would be the parking situation, which the hotel doesn't offer and the parking garages are very expensive.

wonderful hotel/location

We enjoyed this hotel immensely. For some reason, they upgraded us to the towers where all the food was free! The room was large and elegant. It was a very lovely time. Damien the concierge was exceptionally helpful and very patient with all my questions. He booked us a reservation at the Sea Grille, again, very elegant and delicious. It was a great stay.

Sightseeing tip: Short drive from hotel

The subways are simple to navigate, making Boston easy to access. Go to the brand new Boston Tea Party Museum. It was amazing. Brilliant and fun for kids as well as adults. Go to the mall (especially at night) across from the Marriott Long Wharf...........wonderful. Take a moonlight carriage ride throughout town...the old historic buildings are mixed with the skyscrapers...all lit up. Gorgeous. We LOVED Boston. We felt safe and welcomed.

A great hotel in a great location.

A beautiful hotel with a breathtaking lobby, cozy, comfortable rooms and superb service. The concierge was very helpful with dinner reservations, and the valet parking was quick and easy. The location is great, with a T stop a block away and the main shopping district of boston a five minute walk. Also the same distance to the always scenic and relaxing Boston Common. Couldn't have been better.

Great value & location

The rooms are very small but well appointed. The shower was super tiny. It was like staying on a cruise ship. The staff were not particularly friendly. Room service was very expensive and the food was average at best. The bed area was clean, but the bathroom had plenty of mildew. I booked based on location and cost and for those reasons I gave it average ratings. If it were not for those two things I would have rated it poorly. I guess the Rod Sox need to win more and get better accommodations.

Nice stay, great location.

We wanted to enjoy the city, hence we didn't spend a lot of time in the hotel, hence I cannot evaluate most of the amenities, however, the room was comfortable, and the lobby has a very nice environment, you feel like going back in time when you get in. The location is really great, one block away from the T, within walking distance of most attractions.

You can save the taxi fare, just take the T. It is really a one block walk from the Arlington green line T stop after an easy transfer.

Nothing Special for the Price

I stayed one night while in Boston on a trip to Maine. We had states at B&Bs the entire trip besides for this night. The hotel was centrally located and had a nice bar. Although the room seemed dull and the hallways smelled like a locker room. My room was extremely hot too, and aftercoal ing the front desk I was told that the AC had been turned off for the year. I just felt like for the money I spent it was disappointing. The staff didn't seem very friendly or helpful either, but I guess that's Boston.
