Nice!!!

We had a very enjoyable stay. It was an elegant, older hotel, very well maintained. Close is several tourist attraction and restuarants. Go to Chinatown-within walking distance, very affordable delicious food. The trolley tour is a two minute walk, highly recommeded, hop on and off around the city. Taxi's are also waiting outside of the hotel 24 hours a day. Take a taxi to and from the airport for, it was half the price of ground transportation(3 adults).

charge for internet

Overall, the experience was OK. In this day and age, charging for internet access is really cheesy.

boston park plaza

The staff were very friendly and you can't beat the location. There were used towels on the floor of our bathroom upon our arrival, however. These were quickly whisked away once we called housekeeping. The bed was very comfortable. The elevators didn't seem to work very well - oftentimes they would stop on each floor or would continue to go up when they said they were going down. Maybe it would be better to take the stairs...

great business location

arrived late in the evening. not enough people to take care of guest check in and the check in was difficult to find when you leave your care at the valet no valet person there so no one to leave the keys with. Had to leave them with the front desk. It would be helpful if they had signage over the check in area. was not able to get a valet tag at check in was told it would be under the door... did not appear and this created a lot of confusion at the desk in the am... not very well organized and staff were a little clueless. room was very comfortable but the bathroom was lacking in counter space so no place to put toiletries Great location for my purposes and the room rate was great for a DT boston location.

Nice, comfortable

The hotel is older, but the rooms are comfortable and clean, have a safe in the room and and the staff is very helpful. Would be nice if wifi were included and not $12.50/day extra.

Great location

Great location for shopping, visiting historic sights, getting in the T or going to a baseball game. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in Boston. For most people I could see the split bathrooms as a problem but for me it just added to the history of the hotel. Only complaint is that I wish it had a small mini fridge just to hold my leftovers from the many eateries close by.
