The hotel room was very clean and spacious. The bathroom as well. There was a nice bar at the ground floor which had an outdoor area with comfortable seating. We were very satisfied with the hotel.

Cheraw soccer coach
First trip to Boston.
My family traveled to Boston for the Liverpool FC game. This was our first trip to the Boston area and we could not be more pleased. The stay at Back Bay Hotel could not have been any better. The staff was great and easy to guide you as needed. Upon researching travel, we found that the green line on the "T" was the quickest route to the hotel. This is wrong the orange line is very much closer. This staff at the hotel made us aware upon our arrival. This trip was wonderful and I consider the Back Bay Hotel to be of superior standards. We will return to Boston and will stay at this hotel again. We found the people of Boston to be super friendly.

Family Vacation
This Back Bay old Police Headquarters was a wonderful place to stay for our yearly family vacation. We were about 6 blocks from the subway (which was easy to use) 5 blocks from a old town trolley stop (which is a great way to get to know the town) and within walking distance of many places to eat. The room was clean. The view wasn't great. The staff was wonderful. The area was safe. It was a great vacation.

Fantastic Location and Amenities
This hotels location is fantastic and is close to all the places of interest in Boston. The staff is freindly ad very helpful. The rooms are clean and the atomsphere is great. The Bar is very well maintained and the bartenders are great. I recommend this hotel to everyone, including families (we had our kids with us). The location is great to start at the Freedom Trail and to catch the T (subway). Great hotel and thanks for making our trip a great one.

Great Location
Was convenient to everything which is a big plus. However, safe was not working and did not receive a newspaper as requested. Had to ask twice to get safe fixed and paper delivered. Staff was friendly.

Good hotel in a nice neighborhood
We spent one night at Back Bay Hotel. The hotel is located in a nice neighborhood and close to downtown Boston. It is also close to subway stations. The hotel provides clean room, and its staff are friendly.

Back Bay Hotel
The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location was nice, even though there weren't that many family-friendly restaurants/breakfast places nearby. The room was small; the air was too dry and our heating/cooling system did not work properly. Free internet access was nice, but the valet parking is $42 per day (!). Would probably look for another place to stay next time.

Minor problems
Internet access was on and off, often disconnected. The room thermostat was sort of malfunctioning. I asked to warm up meals for our young kids but the hotel said that they are not allowed to use a microwave for guest's meal. Staff are good, rooms are clean. Location beats!

Getting back to Logan airport from the hotel by taxi may take longer than you expected during the peak hour. It is even challenging to catch a taxi.

Weekend Stay
We were greeted curbside asked if we needed assistance and were able to leave our car temporarily on the street until we checked in as we were using another parking facility. Desk staff were friendly and efficient. Room with 2 double beds was nicely decorated, very clean, beds comfortable with lots of pillows. Large bathroom with separate shower, shower robe, turndown with chocolates and an Espresso machine with free coffee provided as an upgrade. Free WIFI that actually worked the first time. Nice lobby, clean, well decorated hallway, centrally located. I can't think of anything negative to say. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!
