What a treat!
What a fabulous little getaway! We were there to volksmarch in the city (through AVA.org), and we were almost right on the Back Bay walk. The hotel was so well-appointed, quiet, and clean; we were lacking nothing. What a treat!

Nice upscale hotel
Only there for an overnight due to a meeting, but would definitely returnthe the deep discount. Close to the transit lines and to downtown Boston. Very upscale!

Affordable Luxury in Downtown Boston
Beautiful re-purposed Boston Police HQ an easy walk from the Commons, Freedom Trail, theater district, restaurants, the "T", and the best shopping. The not so bad: regular rooms were a little cramped (upgraded doubles were excellent), no pool but the "Y" is near by, and no real sitting area (except in the bar). The really good: friendly staff with the feel of a fine "boutique" hotel, free WiFi, umbrellas in the closets, great bar named Cuffs (police HQ...) with hard cider on tap and great food, and lobster frittata or salmon Benedict for breakfast! A little pricy (but this IS Boston) but overall a casually elegant place to relax and enjoy a great city.

Great Boston getaway
Had a fantastic time at this hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and very spacious and we were upgraded when we arrived to a bigger room. Definitely coming back.

Great hotel in great location
We did all the touristy stuff and found the hotel to be in a great location for walking to/from Boston Commons and Beacon Hill, plus just a couple of blocks to catch the trolley.

Great location and amenities
I stayed at the Back Bay for a week in July for a business trip. The hotel is in a great location, next to Airlington T stop, Newbury street, etc With complimentary wifi and a nice terrace bar outside where you can also have breakfast in the morning.

Fabulous hotel, friendly helpful staff, clean modern rooms, excellent central location for exploring a very walkable and accessible city. If you want to spoil yourself without going overboard, this is the place.
