Loved it!

My 2 friends and I went for a six night stay over thanksgiving as we visit a different US city every year to do our Christmas shopping. We booked flight and hotel together through an online travel agency and got a great deal. When we arrived at the hotel it was to find that there records showed our arrival date as the week before. I was horrified but the reception staff sorted it all out and told us not to worry and checked us in to a room. The room was lovely and spacious with 2 double beds. There was plenty of storage for our cases and a large bathroom. Very clean. Free wifi. The location of the hotel was brilliant. Central to everything you could want to do in Boston, shops, restaurants and transport links. The reception and concierge staff were lovely and helped with booking trips and giving tips on where to go and what to do and always with a smile. I would definitely stay again and recommend this hotel to others. If I had to be picky and choose one negative point it would be that all rooms should have tea and coffee making facilities not just the upgraded ones, although this was a minor point as you can get morning coffee in the lobby from 6am. Loved the hotel and its friendly staff :-))

Quiet hotel and a very convenient location

One of the best hotels I've stayed at in Boston (have stayed at 4 others) Very quiet and an excellent location close to several T stations. Plenty of restaurants nearby eg. Maggiano's and Legal Seafoods located just behind the Park Plaza, and also all the facilities in and around the Prudential Centre. Free bottled water is a great perk. Our only gripe was no tea/coffeee facilities in the room though they were provided from 7-9am in the lobby every day.

Do not miss Maggiano's Italian restaurant. Good value for money, but very popular so can be very busy. Legal Seafoods is a very good fish restaurant (in several locations) Prices have increased this year but it is still good value for excellent seafood.

Back Bay Inn for a day

We were very impressed with the location and the amenities that this hotel provided compared to their neighboring hotel up on the corner where we've payed double. The room was nice, the foyer beautifully decorated for the season and the staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. We absolutely loved the breakfast too, with the nicest servant ever. We will definitely come back again soon!

Get week pass for the T, easy to use once you get the hang of some of the cross over lines. A week pass is $15, and can get you to any part of the city. To the airport, water, attractions - anywhere. Cuts back on taxi costs, and when you get tired of walking, or did a bit too much shopping, easy to hop on anywhere to get back to your hotel.

Such a Wonderful Surprise!

I was afraid, based on the reasonable price, that the hotel might be a dump. Much to my delight, it was beautiful! The room was spacious and immaculate. The bed was very comfortable and loaded with pillows. I found the location very convenient for my purposes; very close to the Orange line T and a short walk to the Green line. Staff was polite and professional. I will definitely stay again any time I travel to Boston.

Boston's Back Bay

I liked the interior and exterior of the hotel. The room was small but the beds were very comfortable. The room service is not the best for the price. There is pizza shop on Newbury street that is good and inexpensive! The staff is very friendly they let us check in at 10 AM!!

The alcohol laws are very strict. They don't sell any alochol after 10:30 PM also before 11:00AM. This is definetly not a party city, If you want to party go somewhere else.
