Great location and attractive hotel
We are Boston residents but stayed at the hotel for three nights when we had extended family staying at our nearby townhouse. The staff was welcoming and helpful and the room nicely furnished and comfortable. The location is walking distance to everything in the Back Bay, South End and Beacon Hill.

Short walk from hotel
There are many good restaurants along Tremont Street in the South End, only a short walk away. Masa, on the corner of Tremont and Appleton, is a favorite. (Southwestern.)

Great location and helpful staff
Nicely appointed hotel. Rooms were nice, refrigerator was a blessing, and nice fitness area. Hotel is located near Boston Commons, Prudential Center and four minutes from Amtrak's Back Bay station.

Great Location and Service
On a trip to enjoy the city's Fourth of July celebration fireworks, we picked the Back Bay Hotel for its closeness to to everything--Boylston and Newbury Streets for restaurants and shoping, and the Hatch where the Boston Pops play and fireworks are shot off. The hotel staff was always helpful and cordial and the room was top-notch. One morning my wife wanted coffee, but the basement bar wasn't staffed. An employee came out, offered to make coffee to go and didn't charge her for it (she tipped him anyway). Our room overlooked a nearby firehouse, which in Boston can be pretty busy, but we were always tired enough that it didn't interrupt our sleep. If you drive, parking can be pricey to have the hotel staff park in a nearby parking structure.

Great hotel. Awesome location.
The hotel and rooms are great. They changed their name from the Jury's about a year ago. I always try to stay here when I visit Boston. Centrally located; near the T; near the major business centers.

Fantastic stay!
This hotel was VERY CLEAN and friendly. All amentities were top notch....I will mention CLEAN again, because that's vert important to us. The bathroom was very, very nice and the decor was lovely. Beds were very comfy and no problems at all connecting to wifi- also, it was our first time in Boston- the staff was VERY helpful at helping us figure out the train schedule and how to get places. Wondeful place!

Great Hotel
The hotel is not so far off the beaten path that it costs a lot to get a cab, but it is quiet (with the exception of the bar which has rap music above the threshold of pain), and the staff is helpful, and courteous. My room was well appointed with a better coffee machine than most (you can make coffee or espresso from the same little container)with a comfy bed, big towels, etc. The hotel hallways have a quaint "arched" feeling without being ancient. I would definitely stay here again!

Boston Marathon Review
The Back Bay was centered in the area that I wanted and needed to be for the Boston Marathon. We walked took the taxi[out the door to the right}, the T, and the Beantown Trolley, to many different points in Boston and surrounding sites I picked up race supplies within 4 blocks and found drug stores, and a variety eating places in walking distance, although the food at the Back Bay was excelent, but not the least expensive.

Exceptional!
Excellent location & Service, with many sites within walking distance. Just a couple blocks from Cheers (Boston), Boston Commons and the Freedom Trail.
