With the Sheraton brand shining in neon from the top of this soaring tower block, a look out from most Sheraton Boston Hotel windows will take in glorious scenes of the river or the city of Beantown itself. Dark wood paneling and marble floors denote a simple New England elegance within, but guests may wish to spend much of your time out on the pool deck by one of the largest heated pools in the area. Try a grilled sandwich from the SideBar menu, or grab a Starbucks beverage on your way from place to place. A carbon-neutral meeting space, 'Alive on Five', offers a unique take on working away from home, along with all the free Wi-Fi spots you would expect from a business hotel.
Key facts
  • 1,220 guestrooms
  • 70,000-square-feet of meeting space, including 7 ballrooms
  • Restaurant: SideBar & Grille
  • 24-hour free Wi-Fi and PC terminals in lobby
  • Coffee shop
  • Fitness center
  • Heated indoor/outdoor pool
  • Pets allowed (up to 40 pounds, subject to hotel policy)
Neighborhood
The Sheraton Boston Hotel is located in Boston's vibrant Back Bay neighborhood and is connected to both the Hynes Convention Center and the Prudential Center Mall, four miles from Logan International Airport (BOS). A stroll through the neighborhood around the hotel will take you past some of Boston's most eye-catching architecture, including vintage Victorian-era brownstones and historic Copley Square. Walking a few blocks north of the hotel, you'll reach the main draws for shopping, eating and merry-making around Newbury and Boylston streets.
Hints and tips
Feel like expanding your eating options? The neighboring Prudential 'Pru' Mall serves everything from a classic East Coast lobster to a hearty and wholesome burger.

Great Place

I took my husband to Boston to celebrate his 50th birthday, and the stay at the Sheraton was wonderful. The room was a corner room, and quite as requested. It had two large windows with great views of the city. We arrived before check-in time, and wanted to leave our bags while we did a little roaming, and they let us check in early without any additional charge! The staff were very helpful with information about the public transportation, and had maps with directions on how to take the trains to get to different attractions. The room was very comfortable, and we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel being next to the huge shopping mall with several different dining choices, made our stay even more delightful. The Sheraton rates a high A+.

Fantastic 5 day get away A+ Experience

Hotel was perfect in every way, not one complaint. Staff was professional, friendly more than helpful in every way! Location and our view from our 23rd floor window of the city was breath taking. Room was newly updated, beds were new and very plush. the locaton was perfect for walking to most sites or a short taxi ride or T-ride. Would stay here everytime I visit Boston.

Great spot to see my kids

Everything was perfect. It wasn't cheap but so what? We got a great view of the Christian Scientist pool and fountain from the 28th floor. We walked through the hotel and went through the mall to our kid's apartment without having to get wet. Everybody was friendly and helpful.

Would do it all over again

This hotel located in a PERFECT location of Fenway/Copley/Back Bay of Boston has recently had a facelift and every dollar spent was worth it. We were celebrating an anniversary and the hotel with its fantastic view of the city and close proximity to shopping and restaurants was perfect. We would do it all over again and hope to very soon. We recommend the Sheraton without a doubt.

great location at the right price

This hotel is similar to other good ones in the area (Westin, Marriott). It has a beautiful lobby and we stayed "club level" which meant we got to take express elevators up to the top of the building. Nice touch.

Shopping tip: Short walk from hotel

Copley is a large shopping complex that is about a block from the hotel. It is also very accessible to good restaurants and other tourist attractions. Location can't be beat!
