Sheraton Boston Review

Excellent hotel, great location, considering is was the busy long (Boston College moving in weekend), hotel was very busy, and check in very long. Elevators are very slow and painful, but hotel is planning upgrade to improve elevator service/time. Very good.

Great location for a Boston stay

The Sheraton Boston is a very comfortable hotel with a wonderful location. We did not need to rent a car, as it was a 5 minute walk to 2 subway stations, and Boston is a great city to walk in. We were a few minutes from Newbury Street and 10-15 minutes from Copley Square. We were able to walk to and from Fenway Park in under 30 minutes, and thus bypassed traffic and crowded subway cars after a Red Sox game. We loved that the hotel is connected to the Prudential Center and its restaurants, food court, and shops. The hotel also has its own Starbucks in the lobby, which was perfect for early morning breakfasts. Our room was very comfortable and clean, and the hotel staff was pleasant. Although a bit pricey, we would choose to stay there again.

Great Hotel

Beautiful, clean room. Very spacious. Gorgeous views from two huge windows. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Although walls were paper thin. Could hear our neighbors snoring and coughing.

Great Location

Stayed with my daughter. Connects to the mall at the Pru, so 70 shops/food at your reach off the second floor. Breakfast at hotel is overpriced, but typical for the city. Restaurant in hotel closes early, so connected to mall is a welcome addition, great place to stay for the money!

Dining tip: In Hotel

While main dining room closes early at night the bar serves a pretty good dining menu. They will also let you order off menu for kids as they dont gave a childrens menu. Seating area to the right of bar so you dont feel like your kids eating right in the lounge. Horrible advertising of food, didnt know it was there my first visit three years ago. Found it by accident this trip,

Sheraton Hotel

The room was nice but our parking was not validated. Complimentary breakfast was a good perk for the club level rooms.

For business or pleasure

I travel to Boston twice a year from South Africa to visit my son, who has been living in Boston for the past 15 years. I have stayed at many hotels and find the Sheraton to be the ideal hotel for me. It is perfectly situated, has an excellent gym/pool, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff are courteous.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Legal Seafoods is a must for any visitor. The clam chowder is perfect for a cold winter's day and the tuna steak, with a great selection of side orders is perfect for any weather.

Great business/conference hotel

Outstanding hotel location in the heart of Back Bay and within walking distance of the Freedom Trail and Fenway Park. Logan airport can also be reached within 30-45 minutes via public transportation. All-indoor access to the subway (MBTA or "T") stop through the Prudential Center Mall, although trains can be infrequent and very crowded. Top-notch conference facilities and very well-appointed, comfortable and relatively spacious guest rooms. Rooms on higher floors (7 and above) have excellent views of the Charles River and the city. Housekeeping staff was very friendly and provided great service. Front desk and concierge staff was professional and helpful, but a bit short at times. Nice, yet small, on-site health club was a plus. There can sometimes be long waits for elevators, even though there are 4 in each of the hotel's 2 towers. A bit on the pricey side, but not a bad value. Overall a quality hotel!

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

There is a large food court adjacent to the hotel in the Prudential Center Mall (accessible via the indoor walkway on the second floor of the hotel). The food court offers good selection, but is a little pricey. There are also several popular restaurants located in the mall, including P.F. Chang's, Dunkin Donuts, Legal Seafood, The Cheesecake Factory, etc.
