Upscale feel w/o being stuffy

Staff was very friendly and accomodating, rooms were clean and the Pure environment was greatly appreciated. The 'no tip' environment made it very easy to come and go and not feel like I had to have cash always on hand. Fitness room and locker room were nicer than my gym back home- also had a great massage. Short walking distance to the trains and a few good restaurants. In hotel main restaurant, room service and coffee bar were great, the only thing that made this stay a 4 and not a 5 was the lounge restaurant- only option for Sunday dinner- was very poor, both service and food.

Pricey But WORTH IT

Well beside the fact that we had to pay extra for parking at the hotel (very disappointed in this)... We have nothing else bad to say! The room was amazing, and the bed was EXTREMELY comfy, we even napped before checking out the next day lol.

Awesome Accomodations/Location/Parking

Very nice view of Harbor and easy access to all of Boston and the Airport. Hotel food too expensive. Go across the street for great food at a low price. Hotel meals just about the same price as a 1 1/2 lbs. lobster meal at the No Name restaurant across the street on the pier.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Really great food across the street at the sports bar next to The Whiskey Priest. The steak kabobs are the best I have ever had. The No Name is an old-school Boston seafood restaurant that should not be missed. Just across the street from the Seaport.

Pretty Decent Stay

The hotel is little pricey, so I had basic expectations but didn't really get anything without asking for it. For example, when I checked in I wasn't given any literature about the area, activities or anything. I was just given my room key and that was it, for my 3-day stay. I came back down later to request the information and it was given to me. The front desk staff was minimally helpful, they never really gave detailed assistance for anything. The other staff at the hotel was pretty good (i.e. lounge and restaurant).

There are quite a few restaurants in the general area to choose from. The area is pretty pricey though.

Great Hotel

Seaport Hotel was very luxurious for the price. Located downtown Boston with a great view of the water the staff were very friendly and helpful. Pillow library was an added bonus! Choose different pillows and even a feather bed to put on top of the mattress--all at no extra cost.Definitely would recommend this hotel. [...]

Trip to Boston - Seaport Hotel

The hotel was terrific and I would definitely stay there again. We were greeted pleasantly by the front desk when we arrived and the staff continued to be extremely pleasant and helpful thorough our stay. I upgraded to a harbour front room for a very modest upgrade fee which was perfect for the three of us. The facilities were exceptional - the best hotel gym and pool/spa we have ever seen in a hotel. The food was very good, from the buffet breakfast to the bar food. I would recommend this hotel for families. It is a short walk into the downtown historical area in Boston and the city tour stops right in front of the hotel.

The hotel is close enough to walk to the downtown area and there is a subway stop close to the hotel which will save you money on taxi fares.

beautiful harbor view

The overall hotel was good. It was pretty to look at. I can't say it was everything I thought it would be. The pool was full of children, was smaller than expected and although "underwater music" was part of the description...there was none. Parking is ridiculous in Boston and 32 a day at this hotel is a bit steep. It is in walking distance of many places. The aquarium was fun and so was the science museum. Don't attempt to drive, you will not find parking and if you do you will pay for it. Traffic was also a nightmare. This hotel had a gorgeous harbor, but you will pay extra for this room.
