Fantastic hotel on the water

First trip to Boston and this was a great hotel next to the convention center. We saw a concert on Friday and listened outside to Kansas and Styx for free the following evening. Right on the Silver Line so transportation to Harvard/Fenway was quite easy. Didn't know a free shuttle was available to other parts of the city but everything was in walking distance. I would stay here again.

Unfriendly staff

I had booked a room with two double beds and guaranteed late arrival. When we arrived after midnight, we ended up with a full size bed and a pull-out couch. When I called the front desk, I was told that the hotel could not accommodate me because it was fully booked. I was advised to check again in the morning when other guests checked out. When I called the following day, I was again told that the hotel was fully booked. No one was willing to make any concessions. I finally spoke with the general manager who agreed to remove the self parking fees for my inconvenience.

Great hotel but hidden small fee

The hotel was very nice and clean and the staff was friendly. The only downsides were the hotel was a little out of the way of the excitement of downtown Boston and the hotel charged a $4 fee per day [...]. When we questioned the staff about the fee they gave us a round about answer. The hotel was right near the "T" new silver line but to get near the excitement of Boston it took about 20- 30 minutes running on weekend schedules.

Entertainment tip: Not Applicable

Sam Adams Brewery tour was awesome! Great samples of beer and you get a free tasting glass. The tour was free but you can donate to a local charity. Get there early on a busy weekend. You can take the "T" there so you can indulge.

Great Stay!

Four of us got away to Boston for the Memorial Day weekend and selected the Seaport Hotel as our "home base" after checking out their website and reviews from other customers. The location at the World Trade Center was very convenient to the airport, the subway, and all there is to do and see in Boston! The staff at the Hotel was very friendly and the concierge desk was very helpful with recommendaitons and information. The (2) rooms we had were spotless and comfortable. There is a great little coffee bar in the lobby selling Starbucks coffee products and fresh baked goods that was a good way to start the day. There is also a 7-11 and a Dunkin Donuts across the street, with other dining choices nearby for lunch of dinner. Overall, I would recommend this Hotel to others who can walk to attractions and/or are comfortable using public transportation to see the sights of Boston!
