Excellent business venue
Had the allergy free room. Excellent! Had a bit of trouble with the check-in attendant switching my last and first names, and she said my drivers license and credit must be wrong, because her computer had it inverted. Preposterous!

Nice
The service, dining, and amenities are excellent. The rooms are a bit on the small side, but with a big screen TV, an in-building bar, and loads of luxurious lounge seating, who needs space? The location is great and there a number of very nice dining spots within a short walk.

Weekend in Boston
The location was good-w/in walking distance from downtown or a short cab ride elsewhere. 6 or 7 restaurants are in the immediate neighborhood. The hotel staff was very pleasant & helpful. There is also a no tipping policy. At check in they asked if we wanted a high or low floor & we were given a room on the 17th floor. The room was very clean & comfortable w/ a good view. We really enjoyed the hotel & would stay there again.

Great place to stay
The room was relatively small, but it was well appointed and very comfortable. Nice restaurant and lounge. Tips are automatically included on all room charges, which I found convenient.

with apologies to clint eastwood, this place was "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly"
THE GOOD location is right in the heart of some great restaurants and other attractions. it's close to the silver line trains and the airport. the free wifi was iffy, but the free LAN was wonderful! the bose radios were a very nice touch. THE BAD i'm not familiar with parking rates in boston, so this may be normal; however, charging guests $34 a day to park seemed high. the door to the room doesn't shut quietly at all. every time one closes, it's with a loud thump. also, the toilets had a very loud *BAM* noise to them when flushed. THE UGLY maybe i caught them on a bad weekend, but the place was *NOISY* on saturday night. thumping music coming from rooms next to, above and below mine ran well into the night (4am), doors slamming and drunk guys on cell phones in the hallway ("what?" "i'm on the 6th floor." "yeah, if i can find my keys." "WHAT?") were a real problem. OVERALL a nice enough place, but given what my experience was like, it was definitely not worth the cost at all.

if you don't absolutely HAVE to have a car with you, don't bring one. that parking rate is outragious.
