Family weekend
Was to visit my daughter to help her move to her new place. Wished the hotel had a hot tub to soak in afterwards. Pool was OK--it was set up as for relay races. Very comfortable bed and pillows, spacious bathroom and tub/shower. Very friendly staff, even with arriving at midnight. Close to the T.

boston marathon
We stayed here for the marathon and it was perfectly prepared for the crowds. We went to a red sox game and the public transportation (the T) was fairly easy to navigate. Not a lot of restaraunts in walking distance but the T made other options possible. The room was cool on the side of the air vents and much warmer on the other but it was tolerable.

Underwhelmed and overcharged
I realize that travel in cities is expected to be pricey, but frankly, I feel overcharged. The lobby was beautiful but the room size was disappointing and not too impressive. The workout room/spa was super clean but the steam room wasn't working. It was great to have secure parking but that wasn't cheap either. We enjoyed the restaurants but they were no bargain. We'll try elsewhere next time.

Smart, confortable and convenient
We just stayed one night, but liked the location between the airport and down town and near the convention center. The hotel has a smart modern decor, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the on-site food options were good. Transit to downtown and to the airport is across the street.

Great place!
Stayed here with my husband and 3 kids for the night. The kids were thrilled to be welcomed in by getting to pick a toy from the "treasure chest". The pool was great. Everything was clean. Staff, including restaurant staff, were all great. Loved that there was a a coffee cafe down in the lobby. Would definitely recommend.

Million Dollar Race Horse / No Saddle
If they'd only gone the distance with the construction end of the place it might have grown into a real gem. Looking at an eight foot length of crown moulding that had a one foot scab tacked on to it is but a very small example of the short sightedness the builders had for the place. The baths consisted of builders grade materials as did the general construction of the buildings over all finish. In short the experience was so much that of any other run of the mill joint, but what left us flat mostly is that it did not have to be.

Dining within the hotel was pretty good, but the place on the fish pier without the name sure could use a good cleaning.

Best hotel experience in Boston
We like to come to Boston once a month, we have tried alot of hotels, paid considerably more$ and always seem to be disappointed. That just changed, we will be staying at The Seaport Hotel from now on! Everything about this hotel we found to be great!! Wonderful workout and Spa. Parking is a breeze. The Staff is just great . The location is perfect, close to everything but away from the hustle and bustle of being in town.

Vacation
Nice staff and clean hotel. The only thing that I am not happy with is the way the tipping policy is enforced. I was informed of their no tipping policy because it's included in the hotel fee I paid (they are not cheap). I think that's nice. On my check-out day I receive a bill with $9 (I stayed there 3 day). I called the front desk I told them why they didn't inform me of the charge up front. They just kept telling me that's the hotel policy. No apologies. I told them I wasn't happy about it. All I got is: "OK". I don't mind tipping. I tips between $2 to $5 /day. So $3/day is within my range and I think it's reasonable. But I am not happy that I wasn't informed of that up front. All I need is an apology from the hotel. But all I got was "OK". That's why I only gave 3 stars.

Great Views and Location
I was there for a conference which was in the hotel and right across the street at the World Trade Center, the location is perfect. Close to restaurants and the Harbor. We took the water taxi from the airport and it drops you off right in front of the hotel for a round trip cost of $17. Hotel food is expensive like any downtown hotel.
