Great

I was in Boston for a conference. The hotel was great! Rooms were very comfortable and had pretty much everything one could want. Very clean. Shower and bathroom were nice as well. Hotel had tons to offer; lap pool, bar, restaurant, starbucks. Hotel was also extremely close to the Boston public transit system which made it very easy to get anywhere in Boston quickly and affordably. Overall it was a great experience. The only complaint I had is that the drinks in the bar were a little pricey, but that is to be expected a top of the line hotel. Really enjoyed my stay!

Pleasantly surprised!

The lobby renovations are DONE and it's beautiful. Hotel overall contemporary, only 3 years old we were told. The lobby is so comfortable - fireplace, sofa, chairs, ottomans, coffee tables with books and all. Bartenders are courteous and helpful - from mixing drinks to tips on getting around town. Bathroom in our room was HUGE which is great for two people trying to get around at the same time. Fitness club has convenient hours, big screen t.v., t.v. screens on most pieces of exercise equipment and a basket of earphones AND apples at the door. Front lobby had the baskets of apples, too. Nice to know you can grab a bite of nutrition on the fly until you decide where you want to eat. Hotel on the edge of town so, not in the HEART of "what's happenin" in Boston but, just on the edge. We grabbed cabs because it was Dec but you could walk on a nice day or take the bus to where you want to go. Great price compared to most places. LTK (Legal Test Kitchen) terrific eclectic restaurant right next-door! Felt right at home at Renaissance, had a great time, would stay there again without hesitation! NOTE: Very close to the convention center. There wasn't anything going on at the convention center the week before Christmas when we were there but, you might want to check what might or might not be going on there that would coincide with your stay at Renaissance (because folks from a convention center event might predominate at the hotel).

LTK (Legal Test Kitchen) just a couple doors down for lunch or dinner, offers great eclectic preparations - superb presentation and thoughtful ingredients. Can't lose! Renaissance Boston Waterfront Hotel lounge/bar very comfortable for drinks. For meals though, LTK was a real treat, whereas the hotel's restaurant (606?) was fine.

Excellent Customer Service

Responsive to business needs. Arrived during the end stage of the snow storm that cripplied the city. Made a request to the concierge when I checked in, by the time I arrived to my room had the contact information, time and availability of the product.

Superb Hotel and service

We had a superb time here over Christmas, we were upgraded to a waterfront view - the room was excellent and the view was stunning. The service of all of thestaff was first class. The rooms are large and well planned, the bathroom was excellent, on a par if not better with anything else I have stayed in in Boston. It's a little way out of the centre, Whiskey Priest (local bar) was a nice find during the extreme cold / snow we had.

Outstanding service and ambience

Three years old, the hotel is fresh both in architecture and attitude. The location requires a cab or car to most Boston attractions. The view is terrific of both the city and the waterfront. The plusses far outweigh the slightly out of the way lacation.

Urban Chic

Loved the decor and all the appointments of the hotel with all details covered. The staff was warm, accomodating and professional. The lap pool and area is one of the best I have seen. The rooms were perfect, upgraded luxurious bedding and a view of the waterfront. Every detail covered.

Weekend Trip to BOS

I love Boston! I've been here many times. This hotel seemed like it offered a pretty cool view of the city. The Hotel was comfortable and looked very nice. And had a really great view of the city. The desk staff were helpful, but as with most city hotels, there was a charge for everything. And since it wasn't directly in the heart of Boston, there was only one Bus line so we ended up driving around for the most part. While the service was nice with the exception of some of the valet staff, I think next time we will opt for a Holiday Inn Express, where the beds are incredibly comfortable and breakfast & parking are free.

unbeatable location for the price

The hotel was very central, across the street from a bus that takes you everywhere you need to go thruought the entire city, including airport and subway station. The hotel had a starbucks downstairs which was great for a quick breakfast. The room was very comfortable, clean, and definitely lived up to its standards. Getting aroudn teh city was made easy with maps given out with exact directions as to how to go to all the hotspots in the city.
