Good value in an expensive area

We found then hotel easily in the early hours of the morning when tired and delayed. Quickly settled in and slept. Bathroom and loo separate - useful. A 24 hour garage shop nearby up a quiet service road. Supermarket across the bust highway OK but closed nights and holidays. 10 minutes from the centre of Boston.

Ramadan Boston

The Ramada Boston was not that bad. I can't complain. It is the best priced hotel in Boston. I just did not like having to take a shuttle downtown all the time. It ran only once an hour. I also got stuck at the convention center because I was supposed to call the hotel to come and pick me up when I thought the shuttle always picked up there. The breakfast was great, and there was a computer there for those like me who do no have a laptop. Last but not least, they should think of putting microwaves and refrigerators in the rooms.

More Ups then Downs

I was there for the Marathon and it was a great hotel for what I was there for. Free shuttle service to the Subway Station plus free transportation to/from the airport. Also had a great breakfast. The rooms were just average, nothing special. I would recommend this hotel for a great value.

Great Vacation

I had read reviews on here, and other sites before hand, and from what I read this was one best of the kind in the area. I knew what to expect before going because a lot of people wrote the same thing. People said the hotel was noisy because of where it was located, but I didn't think that it was that noisy. We were next to a staircase, and I did hear people walking up and down a few times but hardly. I also read people complaining that rooms smelled of smoke. Our room smelled fine, maybe that was just one case though. People also complained about the hallways being cold. We did experience that the first day because it was cold and rainy, but then the rest of the trip they were fine. I guess they just don't have heaters in the hallways which is fine. The hotel is confusing to navigate, but once you figure out where you're going, you're fine! The shuttle was a help, except sometimes it came early to the hotel and we just made it. It only runs until 11, so if you're planning to stay out later, you need to call to see if they can pick you up, or get a taxi. The T station isn't that far away, but not parking in Boston and taking the T saves LOTS of money! The hotel is not that far from attractions if you do need to drive in, like we had to, just be careful with the parking, it gets expensive! The continental breakfast in the morning was good, also saving money! There are a few stores around in case you forget anything or need anything which is good. We went to the tavern next door one night for dinner and it was really good. They also have a cafe/brewery place at the bowling alley that seemed good but we never got a chance to go. Across the street there was a homemade ice cream place. Go if you have a chance! It was really good! Overall, we didn't spend that much time at the hotel since we were out in Boston most of the time, but the hotel was pretty good when we were there.

Courteous and Accommodating

While we didn't spend a lot of time there, I feel like it would have been enjoyable to do it. Service was great, including the free continental breakfast and the courteous shuttle to and from the train station.

Convenient location for the price

The Ramada was a great deal for the location. Rooms were average, nothing special, but the staff was always helpful and nice. The free shuttle to and from the airport, as well as to the nearest T station, was great -- if you aren't renting a car, I'd recommend staying at this hotel just for the shuttle service. Overall, I'd recommend this hotel to anyone looking to save $ and stay in a convenient location close to the city.

Great shuttle service!

The first impression was, oh, not a good location, as there is no shopping within reach! But later I learnt that they have courtesy shuttle bus(co-shared w/Comfort inn next door) to train/bus station every half hour(at quarter) so you still can connect to all places you want to go! Great for me as I don't drive. Every half hour the shuttle goes to/fro Boston airport. Thus, you won't miss to go back hotel, as you can hop on the next half hour if you miss one. There is a big bowling alley next door, chocolate shop, onsite restaurant too. If you cross to the opposite, you find next to the flower market, a grocery shop that sells hot food n salads that you can pack n go. Room is clean and bed was comfortable for me. The only concern is, it took me 10mins roaming around looking for my Room712, as it was not on the signage. I had to take my 2 bags down to the reception n asked for clear direction. The lift is like an oven, v.hot. Felt safe at the hotel. Courtesy print out of boarding pass is appreciated. Breakfast is sufficient for me. Will recommend to stay here if in town. The transportation in Boston is v. Convenient.
