Fabulous Hotel

Location is just incredible. Walking distance to more historical sights than anyone could see in several weeks, to great restaurants, to the waterfront and the Faneuil Market and Hall. Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Food in the hotel bar is reasonable and delicious......I love this hotel.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Got to hit the classics -- Durgin Park and Ye Olde Oyster House. But avoid Cheers at Quincy Market -- service lousy and not worth the money.

Check Out Newbury Street for the Finest Boutiques! So much to do, so little Time!

Just perfect!

We came to Boston for a concert. Though we only stayed one night, the Omni was the right choice. This was our first time at the Omni and from the time we stepped out of the car, the service was superb. The staff were very efficient about parking our car, unloading our bags, and guiding us to a flawless check-in. The lobby is drop-dead gorgeous with luxuriant decor, especially with its Christmas decorations, reminiscent of grand hotels of the past. Our room was spotless, also with an air of "grand hotel". The location was great! We walked to dinner at Houston's near Faneuil Hall (fabulous restaurant!). We walked to the theatre (about 12 minutes) from the Omni--a straight shot on Tremont St. There is much to do and see within a walking radius of the Omni so there's no excuse for boredom! We would definitely stay there again!

Shopping tip: Short walk from hotel

Faneuil Hall/Quincy Market is about 10 minutes away. There are loads of other shopping options within a few blocks in any direction. Restaurants abound, from simple to upscale. And there are MTA stations close by if you'd rather not walk.

Excellent location

Our flight was delayed due to weather so we were very late for check in. Not only did they still have our reservation on hand at 1:00am they were very friendly and helpful with all of out late night questions/needs. The location was great. 45 second walk to the T. Next door to a bar. MFA a short T ride away. North End a $6 cab ride!!!
