The Omni Parker House, constructed in 1927, is one of the Historic Hotels of America. The original Parker House Hotel was established in 1855, and the modern venue maintains the Parker House commitment to luxury. At Parker's Restaurant, sample Baked Boston Schrod (cracker crumbs, jasmine rice, white wine and lemon beurre blanc), Boston Cream Pie, or the Parker House Roll for an authentic taste of the very city where these dishes were concocted. Guests seeking a nightcap should try one of The Last Hurrah's golden Bostonian whiskeys for a warming end to a day of exploration; look closely at the walls, and the faces of politicians, senators and congressmen will beam down at you as you sip. Accommodations range from the Economy Petite Single to the family Freedom Trail Suite, where cozy bean bags, activity tables, and children's costumes make for an entertaining stay.

Great Boston experience

This hotel is in a very lively and beautiful part of Boston. The staff and service was excellent. It was very luxurious. The only problem is the the rooms were unusually small. But this is probably true of many hotels in Boston.

We had to book a hotel in the city so we could be close to the 118th Boston Marathon our daughter was running in. I arranged it all online & was absolutely floored w/ our awesome Kennedy suite! We are def going back to this hotel when we have more time to spend. Parker House restaurant is 5 star!! Fabulous location & amenities.

Best place in Boston

This hotel is so beautiful inside and out. The staff is so awesome and friendly. If you love to stay in a little place with history this is it. It's so close to everything you would want to do in Boston. Yes I had stayed at others in this city but this is the place I enjoy the most.

Great Experience

Took my son to Boston for the night since he was home from college. Booked last minute and was pleased to see we were able to be accommodated. The hotel room was small but nice. bathtub was chipped in several spots, and there were small pieces of foam on the floor, but otherwise room was fine. Beds very comfy! Hotel is in a great location to walk to just about anything. we went to the NE Aquarium, Faneuil hall and then to a Fabulous dinner at Umbria Prime. At the end of the evening we got a night cap and the Boston cream pie from the hotel lounge. There is a great bagel café at the bottom of the hill from the hotel as well as a Walgreens. Suited all our needs. Would go again.

A Piece of Bostonian History

Walking through the historic doors of the Omni Parker House Hotel left us feeling every bit as impressed as we had expected. The antiquiety that makes up the grand entrance and many of the ballrooms is an experience in itself. When you are ready to leave the Omni Parker to site see, the hotel is near many local/historical landmarks and is in between several public transit stops. Our room was clean and comfortable. We believe that internet should be made available to guests without an extra charge, so our value rating reflects this. Our personal favorite touch of the hotel is the beautiful floral smell that accompanies the main lobby as you enter after a long day of site seeing.
