The Omni Parker House, constructed in 1927, is one of the Historic Hotels of America. The original Parker House Hotel was established in 1855, and the modern venue maintains the Parker House commitment to luxury. At Parker's Restaurant, sample Baked Boston Schrod (cracker crumbs, jasmine rice, white wine and lemon beurre blanc), Boston Cream Pie, or the Parker House Roll for an authentic taste of the very city where these dishes were concocted. Guests seeking a nightcap should try one of The Last Hurrah's golden Bostonian whiskeys for a warming end to a day of exploration; look closely at the walls, and the faces of politicians, senators and congressmen will beam down at you as you sip. Accommodations range from the Economy Petite Single to the family Freedom Trail Suite, where cozy bean bags, activity tables, and children's costumes make for an entertaining stay.

A great experience

We were impressed with the hotel staff. Even housekeeping went out of their way to accomodate our requests. Location on the freedom trail is really convenient. The hotel is a historic beauty---fun to be in. Boston is the most tourist and user "friendly" big city we have ever visited.

Location & price that cannot be beat!

Even though it was a brief trip I was very pleased with our stay. The location is excellent allowing us many options for entertainment. Our stay would of only been better if the Red Sox would of won!

Great Location

Perfect walking distance to Quincy Market and to Little Italy in the North End. Beds were very comfortable. Our particular bathroom was not female friendly in that there was no place to set anything on, like your curling iron or make-up or anything for that matter. A shelf added above the pedestal sink would help greatly.

Great location, excellent service.

Really enjoyed staying at this hotel. You can't beat the location. It's within walking distance from 3 subway stations. One of them is on the Blue line that goes to the airport. Very convenient. If you join their loyalty program, you get internet for free, as well as some other perks. Overall, great experience.

Everything that is good about a hotel.

Boston is a favorite destination city but, I had not stayed at the Omni Parker House prior to this visit...which was my loss as every aspect of the hotel was of an excellent standard and the renovation deserves celebration. There was not a single item to list in the negative. Thank you!

A great place to stay

The Omni Parker House Hotel is a great place to stay. It is the best location in Boston, and has the friendliest and most efficient staff. The Omni is the oldest continuously running hotel in the United States. As a result the rooms are a little small, and you can hear some noise from the outside. However; they make up for it with a superb location, close to almost every attraction and the subway system. The staff is well trained and seem to truly enjoy what they do. One day I came back with my hands full and one staff member held the door while a second got the elevator, and a third pushed my floor on the elevator's key pad. Every time you stay there the doorman greets you with the salutation "Welcome Home." I feel like he is right.

Try the North End for dinner, the authentic Italian neighborhood and its many restaurants is only a short walk away and try Mike's or Modern Pastry for dessert. Both a real treat.

The perfect Boston Weekend

We arrived by Amtrak on Sat. and it was just two stops on the T to get to the hotel. From the subway stop to the hotel was maybe a five minute walk. Once inside, the room was perfect. The only downside was, we had reserved three rooms and one room wasn't ready until 3:45. The service in the dinning room was impeccable. The location to the Quincy Market, the Aquarium and the North end was very convenient. Once there you don't need a car.

Entertainment tip: Short walk from hotel

Subway was our mode of transportatiaon to Fenway park. An easy one block walk from hotel. If you get to game early (2.5 hrs before it starts) you can buy a red sox fan pass for $15. This gets you and one guest on green monster for thirty minutes before the rest of the crowd can come in. THis is good for season. Take your glove because a lot of balls aaaare hit up there.
