Girls weekend away

Fantastic customer service as soon as you step in the front door. Accessible to subway, buses and waterfront. Only downside is that you have to be a member of Omni to receive the free wi fi and other perks. Front desk did not mention or encourage you to sign up to become a member, therfore it would not shock you once you receive the invoice of $10 for a short use of the wifi.

Go to Quincy market to purchase bus tours as the hotel only offers the more expensive tours a difference of $20 per person.

Boston Vacation

If you lie older hotels with charm & class then you would like the Omni Parker House. The rooms are small, but since I didn't stay in any other Boston hotel, I can't compare room size. The bed we had was a king bed & very comfortable. The restaurant (Parkers) was teriffic - try the Scrod! If I come to Boston again, I would definitely stay here again.

Historic Area

I will never understand why 4 star hotels don't have refrigerators and microwaves, but the location of the Omni more than makes up for it.

Dissapointing

I requested a king bed, but instead got 2 twin beds. Not queen, twin. Also, the room was so small that we could barely move around in it. It looked like a normal size room that had been sub-divided. Bathroom felt like a locker. Good location and beautiful lobby, but totally not worth the price. Definitely will not go back.

Vacation in Boston

The location is right in the heart of Boston and is walking distance to all sorts of great things. There is a crepe place across the street that is fantastic, and we were close to several T(subway) stops. You can take the Blue Line from the airport to Government Center Station and then walk to the hotel. The rooms were plush and nice. The foyer was beautiful and a great place to have a conversation. We ate at the restaurant for dinner and loved it. 2 people ordered the scrod and I got the swordfish; no one was disappointed. Wifi is $10 a day PER DEVICE, so be aware of that. I did it on my phone and then laptop thinking it was per room, not per device. They waived the fee because I signed up for some free membership. This is a great place to be if you need to get anywhere in Boston, and we truly enjoyed it.

Doré Creperie has excellent sweet and savory crepes, and it's across the street from the hotel at 1 Beacon St. The coffee was terrible, so skip that, but the crepes were outstanding.

Great location!

The location is the selling place for this hotel. We could walk everywhere - the hotel is located on the Freedom Trail and that is why we chose this hotel. But the rooms were small and something that has never happened at a hotel is that the TV would need reset every day - we had to upplug the TV and then replug it to be able to see a picture. Strange. There is no breakfast included and of course it costs $42 per day to valet your car. But the location is what makes this hotel so desirable - not the amenities.

Great Location

Coming from the midwest, I know we expect bigger rooms, but one chair in a 2 bed room was not enough. Bathroom was cramped. Loved the staff in the Last Hurrah! Location of hotel is great for walking to various spots.

Way too expensive!

I get the historical value of this hotel, but it was not wort the $300/night I spent! The room was tiny and for the moey and location I should have stayed somewhere else....that was a lot nicer.
