Oldie but goodie

Old gracious hotel - a bit worn out but still lovely - great location -close to three subways stops. Room was small but decently equipped - no ipod player but was not really an issue for me. Has a decent fitness center - staff is very good and extremely helpful. Would visit again.

Omini Parker House

This was our first trip to Boston. The Omni Parker House has a great exterior look and location near the Freedom Trail, parks and many great restaurants. The interior hotel appearance was stylish and classy. Our room was adequate in terms of space, bed comfort and windows. The views out of our windows were of indistinct alleys, however. Our bathroom was nice and big but seemed to lack an exhaust fan and towel rods where you would logistically need them. The rooms were climate controlled by us and were comfortable but the hallways seemed very warm. The workout room was very nice complete with plenty of machines & weights, towels, cold water and some basic fruit to grab after your workout. The entire staff and concierge were all WONDERFUL. We would stay at the Omni Parker House again in the future.

Take advantage of the concierge's resources. They have plenty of knowhow, maps and brochures. We found dozens of wonderful restaurants simply walking near the Omni Parker House and along the Freedom Trail. We especially loved the numerous Italian restaurants in Little Italy (On the Freedom Trail) and the many quaint pubs / bars throughout the Boston area.

Awesome location if you want to explore all of Boston. Central location to museums, historical sites, and a short ride using public transportation to Harvard and/or MIT. Multiple subway stations near by, most within 5 blocks.

Just about perfect

We stayed at the Parker House and found the staff to be delightful. We asked for early check in and we were told to call in when our plane landed and they will be happy to assist us and they were true to their word. The waiters at the resturant gave us such good service and made sure we had everything and then some. The concierge helped us with our tickets for the trolleys and tours and gave us detailed information. We also asked about the best way to visit Salem as a day trip and they gave us easy directions to the train station along with a guide of Salem. I will be returning to Boston and I will be sure to stay at the Parker House.

Um... cozy

The rate was good for the hotel, but the room was TINY, and we didn't know that was the reason for it being so much less. Staff forgot to replenish coffee etc sometimes. People in general very helpful

Great Stay

We arrived early expecting the hotel to just hold our bags, but they went ahead and assigned us our room. We had two children with us, and the staff were very welcoming, giving them a couple of goodie bags. The beds are very comfortable, the bathroom has all that you need. The rooms are a little small. The stay was topped off with breakfast in the room - very well done. Highly recommend this hotel. By the way it is the oldest in Boston and they are the creator of the Boston cream pie.

Fabulous hotel staff

The hotel staff couldn't have been more friendly or more helpful. Every single staff member that we encountered went out of their way to be helpful. The location of the hotel couldn't be better - easy to get to transportation and tourist points.
