The Omni Parker House, constructed in 1927, is one of the Historic Hotels of America. The original Parker House Hotel was established in 1855, and the modern venue maintains the Parker House commitment to luxury. At Parker's Restaurant, sample Baked Boston Schrod (cracker crumbs, jasmine rice, white wine and lemon beurre blanc), Boston Cream Pie, or the Parker House Roll for an authentic taste of the very city where these dishes were concocted. Guests seeking a nightcap should try one of The Last Hurrah's golden Bostonian whiskeys for a warming end to a day of exploration; look closely at the walls, and the faces of politicians, senators and congressmen will beam down at you as you sip. Accommodations range from the Economy Petite Single to the family Freedom Trail Suite, where cozy bean bags, activity tables, and children's costumes make for an entertaining stay.

Good if you like charm

Stayed in a junior king suite. The room was decent sized although the bathroom was teeny tiny. The bed was fantastic and the room was overall very clean and very quiet. The view left a lot to be desired and had to keep the blinds (no sheers option) shut due to office staff about 12 feet away. That was a bummer, as was my broken TV. Overall though, it was cute in a charming, historical way, which I like. Fans of modern hotels should look elsewhere.

Great location to explore Boston

Excellent hotel ideal location to explore the city, short walk to Boston Common etc. Friendly and helpful staff helped organise my travel to Nantucket Island. In the future it would be helpful to enjoy my stay more if there was a fridge in the bedroom and also if there had been an office/ computer facility within the hotel. Overall a good location, for added value it would be good if breakfast was included as part of the room price.

very good room for the price

The staff were pleasant. The hotel has a wonderful location and my room was quiet and clean. The air conditioning was super. The telephone did not function on my last night and I had to request a staff member to knock on my door for a wake up call - but that worked.

Omini Parker House

Really enjoyed staying at the Parker House. The room was clean and well appointed, I was able to check in early and the staff was very friendly. the hotel is a bit odd in that to get to my room I had to go through a small hallway and then up a short flight of stairs, a small inconvenience for a traditional hotel. Otherwise, I really enjoy the location.

Overall a lovely hotel

Staff was very accommodating however, when I got my car back from valet parking, every mirror had been changed and my drivers seat had been readjusted both up/down and forward/back as well as the steering wheel angle had been changed. Seems a bit excessive just to park a car. spending $400 a night you would think they would offer WIFI for no additional cost. I have stayed in hotels for half that amount and been given free WIFI.

Great location/Updates needed

This hotel had a fantastic location in Boston - right in the heart of everything. The hotel itself, however, is in need to serious updating. The hallways are dark and a bit depressing, and the bathroom felt straight out of 1985. The staff was nice, but they really need to invest in the place.

Great Boston experience

This hotel is in a very lively and beautiful part of Boston. The staff and service was excellent. It was very luxurious. The only problem is the the rooms were unusually small. But this is probably true of many hotels in Boston.
