Internet was so slow, It was the slowest internet I used in past 5 years. I was very surprised a hotel in downtown could ... provide a internet like that. We had to wait for 40 minutes even though we called the front desk 30 minutes before we get down to the lobby. But the staff was very nice and they offer us discount on parking fee. Complain that I didn't report, we visited kimpton hotel only because it was known for exremely pet friendly hotel, but they did not provide any pet-package such as pet bowls or beds. Even though we called for bowls they provide two rubber bowls that is very harmful for the dogs. It was the most disappointed part. Also the pet sitting program was very disappointing, I expected a professional associate or program for $20/hour pet sitting which is extremly expensive compare to normal professioanl pet care services (they charge us about $26/day). I would not recommand anyone for pet sitting in nine zero.

Awesome City Awesome Hotel AWESOME TRIP!
Tennessee Teacher Aug 23, 2009
This was one of the best trips I have ever taken. The hotel was in a perfect location. We could walk everywhere! From the ... moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty! Everyone was so friendly and very helpful. The first night we arrived late, so the concierge walked us up a block and showed us a great little restaurant, Silvertones, to eat at! Great place, great food and fantastic service. They recommended several other restaurants that were great, too. Everyday we had to ask the concierge about something, and every one of them was super! They were so helpful and nice! We were going to a wedding in Newburyport and the concierge told me step by step exactly how to get there by the T and the commuter rail. He also printed out a map of the train schedule running to and from Newburyport and highlighted the trains and times I would need. I can't remember their names, but all of them did an excellent job of making our trip wonderful. I would definitely recommend Nine One to anyone traveling to Boston! My hats off to all the staff for making our trip superb!

Nine Zero Hotel is really a GREAT place
Chad Apr 22, 2009
It was my boyfriends first time in the city and we wanted to see the sites and eat some good seafood. The hotel was ... absolutely perfect. When we arrived we were greeted and treated extremely well. We arrived before check in time and they gladly held our bags. We asked about restaruants and attractions several times to different people and they would tell us the information and then give a small print out of exactly how to get there. The free wine tasting was a treat and a good way to meet other guests if you are so inclined. I would difinetly stay there again.

Location and cost make this a great option when visiting Boston. The hotel lobby and rooms are very nice and clean. Our room ... was located on the street side and would recommend asking for a room in the back as street noise was very noticeable. All in all a nice place and worth the money.

Nine-Zero A Plus
Graham Nov 24, 2008
The Nine-Zero is in a great location, central to much of Boston and just a block from the T. I enjoyed being able to take a ... brisk walk around the Common and Public Garden in the morning. The room was spacious and well-appointed, and as a designer I appreciated the efforts to distinguish the hotel as different from the big chains. The attention to detail was great.

I like Kimpton Hotels and this one was no exception. The location was ideal, between two subway lines. The subway makes ... Boston easy to visit. If you can manage a flight of stairs at the subway you can take the subway from and to the airport. The staff was professional and helpful. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable.

Nine Zero is located in the heart of downtown Boston-close to the North End for great dining and close to the ... Copley/Prudential area for shopping. We used to live in Boston and have stayed in many area hotels, best hotel in central Boston, value for money. Aside from the location, the room was lovely; the staff was helpful and quite personable as well.

Very Modern
David Jul 13, 2008
The Nine Zero is Boston was one of the most modern hotels I've seen lately. From the moment of pulling to the valet area, the ... hotel staff was extremely friendly and courteous. The rooms were in very nice shape. The bathroom was gorgeous with a large granite shower and swinging glass door. The bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel had more in-room / mini-bar purchase items than anywhere else I've ever stayed. You could get anything from typical beverages and snacks, to t-shirts, hats, and even sleepwear already in the room. The location was excellent for Boston. It was about a 3 block walk to Faneuil Hall and the shopping area, as well as about a block to the nearest T station. Great spot! This hotel even does a complimentary wine hour for all the guests from 5-6pm.

Modern and beautiful
Royda Jul 1, 2008
We loved this hotel. It is modern, beautiful and warm - with WiFi, TV, a martini bar and room darkening shades (a big ... plus). Nine Zero is located in the heart of Boston, so we could walk almost everywhere. The desk staff were extremely helpful and gracious - they found a dentist for me when I had a tooth break, and they found an optician for my husband when his glasses lost a screw. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Weekend Getaway
Bradley Jun 29, 2008
My wife and I just spent 3 days at the Nine Zero in Boston for our anniversary. Overall the hotel was great and we would ... highly recommend it to others. As with many Kimpton hotels, the property has great style along the lines of a W Hotel, but less pretentious. The staff was very friendly and tried to assist us with all of our requests. The hotel is centrally located to Boston Common, shopping districts, the theatre district, and the subway, so we never needed our car for the duration of our stay. If we had to find any faults with the hotel, they would be (i) you have to request your car from the valet 30 minutes before you want it (though the staff made this very clear upon check-in); and (ii) the valets pushed the hotel restaurant VERY hard - almost to the point of comedy. Overall we had a great stay and look forward to returning for our next trip to Boston.

Good Value
David Mar 31, 2008
We were greeted with enthusiasm by the well-trained staff and we continued to be favorably impressed with the hotel staff ... during our three night stay. The hotel has a very modern trendy decor. The rooms are very comfortable, although our view consisted of the building next door. The location is very convenient for the Commons althougth the neigborhood is very busy and not convenient for restaurants within walking distance (unlike the Copley Square area hotels, where we often stay, which are close to the Newbery Street restaurants). We ate breakfast in the hotel's restaurant which was very relaxing and a good value and also had a nice view of a church and cemetary. We have visted Boston many times and would stay again at Nine Zero.
