Clean but smallest room I've ever seen.
This hotel had a convenient location. But for the small price, I got a very small room. Felt like I was in a classy hostel. Realistically, it was all that I needed...

Okay if you just need it to sleep
Elevator was broken down the last day after walking Boston for 2 straight. We had a room on the 5th floor and had to walk the luggage down the next day. Keys didn't work the 2nd day. Friendly and pleasant staff. Great location!!!

Great location, Great Price!
This was my first trip to Boston, and I managed to find a hotel near everything. The Milner was near major streets, restaurants, and within walking distance to their subway station. When I go back to Boston, i will definitely stay here again! Oh, and the staff was also very friendly, and helpful with directions, and places to eat, etc.

Money-saving tip:
Short walk from hotel
For transportation take the MBTA mass transport system in Boston. It is super easy, and convenient throughout Boston.

Good location - absolute no frills
Positives: - location was central for Black Bay (Newbury St); Beacon Hill (Charles St) and Downtown. I was able to walk to all points of Boston from this hotel (except Harvard where I walked to the end of Charles St and caught the red line train). Negatives: - small (this is not the sort of hotel a single guy will want to bring a girl back to). - no frills (bathroom sink in bedroom) as bathroom is tiny. - can be noisy at night due to heart of entertainment / theatre district.

Great location, affordable price, clean
This hotel is not going to be for everyone. I was in town for a number of activities and just needed a clean, affordable place to sleep. The front desk staff was very nice and my room was clean. Good points: The hotel is located in the theater district and there are several great restaurants within walking district. The hotel is also located near several public transportation options. Caveat: The rooms are small, there are no luxurious furnishings. Simple, clean, affordable.

Good value
Went for school interview. Hotel provided everything I needed. The only thing that was weird was the placement of the furniture. The TV was to the right of the bed instead of straight on for example. The room was small as well, but you get what you pay for...

cozy small hotel
the room is really really small. It's very noisy sometimes at night. Staff was friendly and helpful. The location is great, close to Boston Common and China town area.
