Great location

I was only here for an overnight on business. You can't beat this hotel for location. It is across the street from Faneuil Hall, next to the farmer's market, and a very short walk to either the North End or the Public Gardens. The State Street T stop is also right around the corner. My only complaint was that I had been given a handicap-accessible room, for for me the bath/shower was just ok, but since it was a short visit I didn't worry about it.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Go to the North End for dinner. You can't help but find a good meal. My favorite is Bacco, on Salem Street. Cigar lovers, you've got to experience Stanza Dei Sigari on Hanover Street.

Disclosures

The experience was good but wasn't Fantastic. It was pretty much the same as a little above average hotel but with a GREAT location. Parking was $50 bucks which wasn't disclosed and Wifi was an additional $10 that wasn't included either.

Trip for ACE 2014

Great location, extremely friendly staff. Food was very good, but a bit expensive ($5 for coffee in the restaurant). I'd also suggest that WiFi should be free in the rooms. Still, the location, cleanliness, and friendliness of staff helped make this a great trip. Being on Boston's Freedom trail also helped!

Nice, but

The location is perfect and the hotel is relatively nice. But it's pricey. The staff is very helpful. The facilities have another 4-6 years before major renovations are required.

Great location, hairs in shower

The setting is beautiful, your balcony looks out onto Quincy Market and Christmas lights line the trees along the walkways. The decorative style was modern and classy, and I liked that they had a vanity with a chair you could sit on while applying make-up, separate from the bathroom. Two complaints: 1.) there were 2-3 nasty, curly hairs on the shower floor which were definitely not mine 2.) the soap by the sink was unwrapped and wet on the bottom when I got there. If they did not pay attention to those details, it makes me wonder what else was not actually clean... and shudder. The staff was nice and everything, but ultimately the most basic thing I need in a hotel is a clean room.

5 minutes away, there is a 24-hour bakery with the best canoli out there! Also try their lemon ricotta pie- tastes like cheesecake.
