Lenox Boston
Enjoyed this hotel for anniversary weekend in Boston!Friendly, helpful staff; very clean, comfortable rooms; found wine and chocolates in room with note saying Happy Anniversary (very nice touch); close to Prudential Center where we had dinner as we watched sunset @ Top of the Hub; walking distance to great restaurants, bars and shopping; cozy lobby and great smelling too (lemongreass & green tea, I asked).

The best service ever.
The Lenox Hotel was in the most perfect location for my business meeting, with easy walking distance to the State House. The staff was by far the most professional that I have encountered in my travels. They are polite, knowledgeable and very professional. When I'm back in Boston for business or pleasure, I'll make the Lenox my first hotel of choice.

Loved the hotel from the moment we arrived...smelled great...cozy! Excellent personalized service. They upgraded us to a larger room without me even asking! The "turn down" bed service at night was sweet as well as the truffles!

Excellent--but don't bring a car.
We returned to our native Boston for the holidays, and were glad it was such a cheery and comfortable hotel. I loved the Lenox. The beds are amazing. The rooms were quiet. The staff were attentive and generous. A couple of nitpicks: the restaurant breakfast ended at 11 am and lunch had to be in the downstairs pub. The bigger problem: parking was $43 a day and we had two cars, so this seriously added to the price of our stay! We may not be able to afford it next time.

Don't park at the hotel! Leave your car at home! The valet parkers are nice, but the price is huge and there is no cheap parking anywhere nearby.

As a regular hotel-stayer in Australia
As a regular hotel-stayer in Australia I booked into the Lenox for one night on the basis of its competitive price. I was overwhelmed by the quality of this hotel in every way. It breathes an air of luxury in its public areas that is carried over into the rooms. The style is old fashioned charm and service. The staff could not do too much to assist in the few enquiries I had. The hotel is centrally located for many or most of Boston's many attractions. The South Bay area is busy and attractive with the great public library and Copley Square nearby. Shopping is easy and plentiful. The Freedom Trail is within walking distance. The hotel has good, reliable wi-fi and makes modest charges for phone use. I loved the experience here and would gladly return anytime. It also hands out the best map of Boston I've seen.

Unbeatable location for the price
The hotel was lovely. It was easily accessible to various venues and the food at the hotel was great. The service was very attentive. [...] parking was not included which added another $43 per day to our bill.
