Nice Place

Would recommend Mon, May 26, 2008
I enjoyed my stay at the Interncontinental Hotel in Boston. The facilities, lobby, and common areas were very well maintained. The fitness facility was particularly nice. The room sizes were nice, and the bathrooms were well maintained and clean. The hotel staff was not very flexible regarding extending my checkout by an hour. The food was good, with a very nice bar. Overall the experience was good. The hotel is super convenient to Downtown Boston tourist attractions.

Elegant Getaway

Would recommend Sun, May 11, 2008
The Intercontinental is one of the newest hotels in Boston. It is situated along the waters of the Fort Point Channel with views of Boston Harbor, the airport, and downtown. We had a water-view room with a King sized bed, desk, lounge chair, and a sofa. The atmosphere was quite contemporary and all amenities were comfortable. The bath was spacious and had an interesting twist in that the headboard of the bed basically had 2 sliding frosted windows above it which opened onto the bath. Quite interesting when utilizing the facilities, but gave the room an extra degree of spaciousness when privacy was not absolutely needed. The staff was very courtious and attentive to our needs. In the summer, the outside patio looks to be a wonderful place to relax and catch the sights. The hotel is easy walking blocks to South Station, Quincy Market, and the Aquarium.

Attractions

Trolley Tours, Whale Watch, and the entire waterfront just a short walk from the hotel.

The Intercontinental Hotel in Boston is in a great location. The staff could not have been nicer. We walked to every where from this point. Was not told that the cost for the car a day was thirty nine dollars. no coffee pot in the room. beautiful sitting area out side by the water.

Then InterContinental Boston is a great place to stay while in Boston. A quick cab ride to alot of great attractions. We were impressed by the helpful staff. We also liked the presence of security people who were low key but kept an eye out for guests. The room was very nice with great views and room service was prompt with great food.

Entertainment hint

Short cab ride or fair walk to lots of shopping and entertainment.

Beautiful Rooms....

Would recommend Mon, Mar 31, 2008
The Intercontinental Boston is a very upscale and elegant hotel. The room and bathroom was amazing. I definitely received a spa-like experience. The hotel is located walking distance to many areas of Boston and also very close to Logan Airport (about 3 miles). My only negative comment is that there was no self parking and the hotel charged $40 per night for valet parking and only allowed guests to take out the car one time in and out during a 24 hour period. For such an upscale hotel, the parking should be a courtesy to guests paying so much money to stay there.

Shopping hint

H&M, Filene's and Macy's is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel.

There is nothing wrong with the Hotel, however I can not afford $26 dollars for breakfast or am I willing to pay$4.00 for a bagel. Pot of coffeee for 4 cups $16.00 which we used. Other tahn that no complaints. No vending area or ice machine either.Otherwise very, very nice

Attractions

You can catch a boat, the trolley or the metro wthin a short distance. Many Boston areas are in walking distance. Also a nice cafe down the street that has reasonable lunch, brakfast and dinner.

Very convenient to both work and play

Would recommend Wed, Sep 5, 2007
This hotel is convenient for both work and pleasure; it is situated in the financial district on the waterfront, and also within short walking distance to many of the historical attractions in Boston, such as Fanieul Hall, the Freedom Trail (Paul Revere's house, the Old North Church, etc.). It is also only one block from South Station and a short ferry ride from Logan Airport. The hotel is brand new, and the rooms are very comfortable and clean.
