Good Value for Boston

For the money ($269 for 2 Queen Beds), the Hyatt was a good choice because of its location. It is close to Theater District and Chinatown, and close to the Boylston T station. Everyone was friendly and hospitable and helpful. We really enjoyed the jazz music in the lounge in the evening, and they didn't mind us just drinking water (I had my 19 year old with me.) Only drawbacks - everything is an extra cost - parking, $32, internet $9.95, Nintendo or movie, $6.95, and don't even touch the mini-bar! Overall though, that is likely the case anywhere you stay in this area, and for the price, the very best I think I could get. The bed was a dream to sleep on, and the location was perfect for our stay, a visit to Berklee School of Music in Back Bay.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Kingston Station was a fun and interesting find, just a short walk from the hotel on Kingston Street. The front portion is a great pub/bar area, and inside further is a nicer, sit down dining room. Great salmon, and terrific truffle fries!!!

Shipping up to Boston! In Style!

Great hotel! The location is unbeatable. Hyatt is in the middle of everything - and you certainly pay for that luxury. Although I spent a whole paycheck to stay here and eat, it was worth it. Boston is an amazing city and this hotel allowed me to enjoy it all worry-free. I would defintely go back (as soon as I can afford to of course).

Nightlife tip: Short walk from hotel

Ames Plow Tavern in Quincy Market is the best pub without a night scene close by. It was exactly what I needed after a long day of work and a 2 hour delay due to weather, and all I wanted was a wicked good beeyah!

Boston Hyatt Regency

A good hotel in a great location for central Boston, especially for seeing the Boston Common area, old South meeting Hall, and walking to Faneuil Hall, etc. Very comfy rooms and helpful staff. breakfast very overpriced at over 25 dollars, even for a buffet.
